Crescent Farms Golf Course

About
Formerly known as the Players Club at St. Louis, Crescent Farms Golf Club has undergone more than just a name change with a major course renovation that included lengthening the fairways and reconstructing the bentgrass greens. The course has a parkland layout with mature trees lining the fairways and plenty of water coming into play throughout. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers that appear along the greensides. Golfers will come across several risk-reward opportunities where good course management and accuracy are the key. One of Crescent Farms Golf Clubs toughest holes comes halfway through the golf course. The par-4 ninth hole begins with an intimidating tee shot protected by two fairway bunkers, a hazard to the left, and tall native grasses to the right. The challenges don't end there either, golfers are then faced with a second shot to a heavily bunkered, sloping double-tiered green.

Course is amazing
Course is very well taken care of and is in great condition. Would play here time and time again.
Fairly nice, but always seems overpriced
The course was in good shape though aerated greens and fairways should be more openly communicated before tee times are booked and perhaps discounted. With other equally good options in the greater St. Louis area, this course only seems worth it on a discount. Among the triad of courses here I'd rank them Pevely , Crescent, Aberdeen - and they seem to be priced that way accordingly. Fairways were in very good shape. Some tee boxes were under repair (glad they are fixing them) but where we were supposed to tee off wasn't obvious so we just used apps on our phones to find the approximate distance for our tees.
Very pleased with the course at Crescent Farms. Bunkers were in great condition (unlike other courses I've played in STL). Fairways and greens were in great shape. Oddly, one Marshall was very kind and worked with us to play through a slow group ahead of us. However, another Marshall yelled at me while putting because my playing partner had driven the wrong way around a green to get to the next tee box. Totally unnecessary. And the decision to have everyone start on the 10th tee defied logic. There is a reason for a practice putting greens location being near tihe #1 tee. Overall great course conditions but employee decisions and statements detracted from an otherwise great day!
What an awesome place!
First time playing here and man was i impressed from the driving range to how beautiful and well taken care of the course is. Some memorable holes that you just wont forget.
Solid as always.
All Gholes are open. All the grass is still geeen. Great job maintaining through another St Louis summer. Great management.
Golf great Front desk guy not so much
Waited for guy at desk to get done texting on his phone. Never even acknowledged we was there at desk. Finally looked at me and said “what do you need”. I don’t know maybe to play golf at our tee time. Handed me two cart keys and said “go to one”. After the miserable dude in the lobby, everything else was great. The two older gentleman at first tee box were great. The course was great as well. So everything gets 4 out of 5 stars. The guy working the desk gets 1/2 out of 5 stars.
