About
Formerly known as the Players Club at St. Louis, Crescent Farms Golf Club has undergone more than just a name change with a major course renovation that included lengthening the fairways and reconstructing the bentgrass greens. The course has a parkland layout with mature trees lining the fairways and plenty of water coming into play throughout. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers that appear along the greensides. Golfers will come across several risk-reward opportunities where good course management and accuracy are the key. One of Crescent Farms Golf Clubs toughest holes comes halfway through the golf course. The par-4 ninth hole begins with an intimidating tee shot protected by two fairway bunkers, a hazard to the left, and tall native grasses to the right. The challenges don't end there either, golfers are then faced with a second shot to a heavily bunkered, sloping double-tiered green.

Overpriced and needed maintenace
Love the layout of the course, but for $95 it should be more maintained. The rough was extremely long and the sand traps were hard as a rock. They did have rain 2 days before, but maintenance should have raked the traps. Was also annoyed by one of the marshalls who jumped into one of our carts to move it off the grass on to the path. He could have asked us to move it and we would have. Watched him drive in the grass after that when he could have driven on the path and then went around us. Love the course, but just needed maintenance and priced too high compared to other courses.
Poor Bunker Maintenance
Course is in good shape for early spring except the bunkers look to have not been raked since last fall. This is an ongoing theme there. For the price, bunkers should be maintained
This course is tight
The course is extremely tight. The greens are rolling at about an 8. I found a lot of the tee box setups frustrating based on trees immediately in your path if not trying to hit 15yd wide fairways wasn’t hard enough look out for the low hanging tree 20 yards off the tee box. The weekly rate at $70 might eliminate unwanted golfers, but the course is not worth over $40.
Staff is always very friendly and courteous. Greens had just been aerated so conditions were not optimal.
Course is amazing
Course is very well taken care of and is in great condition. Would play here time and time again.
