About
Formerly known as the Players Club at St. Louis, Crescent Farms Golf Club has undergone more than just a name change with a major course renovation that included lengthening the fairways and reconstructing the bentgrass greens. The course has a parkland layout with mature trees lining the fairways and plenty of water coming into play throughout. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers that appear along the greensides. Golfers will come across several risk-reward opportunities where good course management and accuracy are the key. One of Crescent Farms Golf Clubs toughest holes comes halfway through the golf course. The par-4 ninth hole begins with an intimidating tee shot protected by two fairway bunkers, a hazard to the left, and tall native grasses to the right. The challenges don't end there either, golfers are then faced with a second shot to a heavily bunkered, sloping double-tiered green.

rain check return
me and 7 friends played on the 19th of may and it started a heavy rain and storm and were called in to the club house to see if it would slow down...after about 30 min, we decided to go in and get our rain checks.. we only played 2 holes and were told that we were charged for them and only gave us 28.00 in return.... when we paid for the round of 18 holes, the cost was $45.00 so they deducted $17.00 because we played 2 holes and payed tax as well ....we have played this course many times but will not play it again . i have played golf many times on other courses and never had trouble getting rain checks up to 7 holes with no deductions
Course continues to show improvement! Not sure why bunkers are not maintained - maybe all the rain??
Fairways still have some rough spots but much better and appreciate the continued improvements! Greens very good shape and not slow.
Good average course
This course isn’t anything spectacular but it is a good course to play for an average round of golf. Fair warning it’s tight so if you spray it off the tee you may be suited to go next door to Aberdeen. This course requires shot shaping in order to put yourself is scoring spots otherwise you’ll have trees and other hazards to navigate. Greens were smooth rolling but slow.
First time at course
Staff was excellent .Course layout good. Greens very slow but smooth and good. Some tees very hard. Fairways a little thin but ok. No beverage cart and limited water on course
Hairy slow greens
Decent layout and deals can be had at times. But the greens are so slow it’s just a letdown.
Very nice
Course was in good shape. Greens were very nice but very slow. Bunkers were the only part of the course that had been paid no attention.
Sand bunkers need work or either remove them.
Like the course but Sand Bunkers are in terrible shape with little sand and no rakes to loosen up available sand to play out of.
Dog Track
Can’t believe I paid $60 for this. Greens are still bad after aeration, the traps haven’t been toiched, just overall crappy foe what they are charging. Last time here for me.
Overpriced
Didn't expect the course to be in great shape as the season is just picking up, but to charge $70 for this when the greens had just been punched was comical. Playing on April 2nd, our group thought this was just some sick extended April Fools prank. Unfortunately, that was not the case. There is nothing special about this place. If you're lucky enough to hit a bucket of 7 balls they generously give you before the round, be sure to bring two sets of irons because the turf mats are worn down to the concrete. First and last time I'll play here. Far better courses in St. Louis that charge the same or even less.
Great Course in a beautiful area!
I enjoy playing Crescent Farms as it is very challenging if you miss the fairway given the trees, rough, carries, bunkers, etc. The course is absolutely beautiful in the spring and summer and it is very well maintained. I play in a weekly league there and enjoy the different challenge of playing the front vs the back nine! It is a great value for your money!
