About
Formerly known as the Players Club at St. Louis, Crescent Farms Golf Club has undergone more than just a name change with a major course renovation that included lengthening the fairways and reconstructing the bentgrass greens. The course has a parkland layout with mature trees lining the fairways and plenty of water coming into play throughout. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers that appear along the greensides. Golfers will come across several risk-reward opportunities where good course management and accuracy are the key. One of Crescent Farms Golf Clubs toughest holes comes halfway through the golf course. The par-4 ninth hole begins with an intimidating tee shot protected by two fairway bunkers, a hazard to the left, and tall native grasses to the right. The challenges don't end there either, golfers are then faced with a second shot to a heavily bunkered, sloping double-tiered green.

Still pretty much dormant
The layout is good and challenging. Right now it’s a little tough to gauge because the fairways haven’t started to green up yet.
Nice place to play
Worth the drive. Nice layout. Good condition and a fair price.
Not worth the cost they charge
Greens and tee boxes haven't been mown in awhile. Were talking running a 2 or so on a stemp meter. Leaves and debris on every hole, now granted it is fall, but it is like they no longer have a grounds crew. Definitely not worth the summer rate price they are still charging.
Good course but hate 9th and 18th holes
First time playing Crescent this year and it was strong as usual. They redid and expanded the clubhouse and it looks much bigger and nicer.
The course was pretty dried out but the conditions were still solid. I enjoy the course and it is fun to play but I just dislike the ninth and 18th holes and they play identical. Off the tee on both holes, you have to hit a long draw down to a very narrow landing area. IF you can do that, the approach shot is a long forced carry over a dropoff to a green that is sitting up. Once in a round is difficult enough but having to do that twice is a drag.
Water comes into play a good number of times but none of the shots are that challenging. The par-3 No. 8 was redone and looks much nicer than it was before.
The one bad thing is that the course is always crowded and leads to taking a long time to play. Don't think I've ever played there in less than four hours and always seems to take 4.5 to five hours. But I still recommend it as it is a good course at a solid value.
Great setting with good strategy challenge
As in title, Greens a little bumpy (but under fall season acceptable). Look forward to playing again.
Great Round
Our foursome was not the most experienced group out there, but we were not waiting nor were we holding up anyone. Course is in excellent shape with some difficult shots.

Hadn't played here for a while, and the course is in good shape, greens were great, would come back again
Great Day of Golf
The course is in great Very friendly staff. The new 19th hole makes it fun to grab a beer after a round.
Great course but wicked slow
Need to up the price and increase the pace of play. The course is in great shape but 5.5 hrs is nuts. Need to hand players instructions on how to fix ball marks
Great Round at Crescent Farms
This was my first round at Crescent Farms. The high ratings and a Hot Deal rate encouraged me to try it out. The course was fun and forgiving. The weather was perfect, and the course was in good shape, save for some stray ball marks on the greens. For the value, I don’t think you could get much better than Crescent Farms!
