Willow Metropark Golf Course

Course was in great condition. It was a beautiful day on the course. Trees make a few holes pretty challenging. Like playing this track.

The course had some challenging holes with tight fairways and very nice rolling greens. Many par 4’s were some sort of dog leg. Research the layout before your first round. There were a few holes I would play differently the next time I play there. Play was very slow - 4 hours 10 mins for 2 of us to get around. Very nice course but too much waiting at each tee box than I’m used to Worth the trip to play as long as you are not in a hurry.

This course always plays well. It’s give you an opportunity to test all types of shots.

The weather was perfect, the price was right, and the pace of play was good.

The course is in great shape. Nice true greens that aren’t super fast. Senior rates start at 55. Joy to play!

I played here years ago as a teen with my father. Was always a good value. Decided to go back to check it out. It’s now $26 ish for $18 with cart. But can find $15 a round here on golf now. It’s perfect for juniors/seniors/ladies. Fun for the average golfer. Overall short course, anyone could play from the blues honestly doesn’t add much to the round. A lot of 350-450yd par 4’s. Can get backed up on back to back to back short par 4’s and a par 3 in between. If you’re a 90 avg u shoot 85 here.

Course was in good shape. It has a good layout and is player friendly.

Course in great condition , good pace of play . Good value for golf .

Pace of play was good. Course was pretty basic. Some challenging greens. Slopes on greens and pretty small compared to other courses.

Played here for the first time in a few years. Was reluctant to try it based on past issues with drainage on the course and the very wet spring we have had. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the fine conditioning of this course. It is apparent that they have worked hard to improve the conditions and fix some of the problems with water that were hindering this course previously. Not quite perfect yet, but this course has a really fun layout and we were reminded why we used to play here frequently. Will put it back on the list to play again.

With all the rain we've had in Michigan this spring, Willow Metroparks Golf Course was in great condition. There were four holes that were cart path only, and it was understandably so. The ball washes all had soapy water for cleaning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would go back there anytime, and am planning a golf outing there in August.
