Great course hidden away in Richmond. I highly recommend this to my friends and fellow golfers.

I will play there as much as I possibly can.

Awesome course. Great getaway from the city. And hot deal for $17 can't beat that! Course was pretty forgiving. Still easy to find balls if you didnt hit the fairway. Which were in great condition and the greens were smooth and fast. But very clean. Even after a tournament that morning course wasnt beat up. Had a practice range that was decent. I think the only complaint i could make was the carts. Time to update them. And wings at a golf course? The food at the 19th hole was unexpectedly tasty. Not just hotdogs!!!! Thanks shirky for a great day of golf. I WILL RETURN VERY SOON

Drove 40 Min to the course to find out the course was closed to the public for the day due to a tournament. I’ve called Golf now numerous times to get an automated voicemail to not help me at all. Now I’m out $70 for a round a golf I never had the chance to play. I would say being disappointed is an understatement.

Great little layout and very fair course. Rewards you for good shots and punishes bad ones which is exactly what I like. Lots of different shots out there. Course was in good shape considering we had 8 inches of rain 3 days ago. I wish the other golfers would keep their carts on the paths when they know it’s soft so they hurt a couple of the low areas around the course. The clubhouse and restaurant are nice and the staff was very friendly. I will be back for sure! You won’t be disappointed here especially if you catch an online deal. Great value!

Great course, only 9 holes that turns over but for the price, it was a steal. Great tacos too!

I’ve played this course several times in the last month and have enjoyed every round. Long enough and challenging enough for even the best of golfers yet friendly staff with surprisingly great greens keepers! Only one green has some issues but the rest play fast and make the round exciting! Oh, and I only titled this that way because I don’t want the whole city to find this “diamond in the rough”! Worth the drive from the big city for cost effective and fun play!

I hadn't played Shirkey in years and went with my son. It's early in the season so course conditions were what you would expect 1st week of March in Missouri. I like the layout. The holes aren't particularly difficult and you shouldn't lose too many balls. I really can't wait to go back after the course greens up. The clubhouse has a lot of potential and the grill was outstanding. The food was excellent and the value was rgeat. We has the turkey bacon melt with fries for lunch and then has the cajun chicken street tacos after our round. Both were killer!

I booked a teetime for 18 holes with a cart for 2 players, but was not told that there was league play in the evening after me, and was told that I had to stop after 9 holes. It was still a good price to pay for 9 holes, but I feel like I should have been told about league when I checked in, or the teetime should have said it was only for 9 holes.

Perfect weather, the greens need some work, but the course itself is outstanding.

Played here frequently for 20 yrs. First time back since '05. Trees are bigger, landing areas smaller, doglegs tighter, greens are still small, but putt true. It's a gem just too far from metro.

I haven’t played here in a few years and the course was in great shape. Greens were faster than I expected.
