Great course
The course is in great condition and the staff was super friendly. I would recommend this course. They have made some nice changes since I last played it.
Needing TLC
Tee to green the conditions through out were marginal at best. Fairways were spotty with patches of grass, tee boxes were fair and bunkers were horrible. They were baked hard as if the staff hadn't raked them for weeks. Have played this course numerous times over the years and this is the worst I've seen it. Very disappointed as Eagle Springs has always been a decent place to play. A little TLC is definitely needed to bring the course back to a nice place to play.
So. Much. Water.
It had rain a lot in the days leading up to my tee time. When you stood on the fairway you could hear the water still rushing into the ground. It was like having a white noise machine with you. Honestly, the course really wasn't in any kind of playable condition due to just how muddy and just sopping wet everything was. I love playing in the rain but this was just too much.

Cut the grass
The good: This course has very well maintained greens. Smooth with hardly any divots. Ball rolled very well. Quite enjoyed the par 3s.
The bad: Everything besides the greens were in poor shape. Fairways grass was as tall as the ball on majority of the holes. Tee box grass was also unusually tall. The weather had been nice all week, it was unexpected to experience conditions like that especially when you consider how well maintained the greens were.
I want to like this course as I play it well, however, paying $52 on a weekend to loose balls in the fairway is ridiculous.
Fun course
Early May and the fairways need to grow in. Greens in really good condition.
Pace of play is slow. Need a marshal.
Beautiful Greens
Fairways were in decent shape 6.5 but greens were a 10. Course is tight on some holes but the GREENS are PHENOMENAL!!

Pro shop has a great selection and prices, greens playing very nicely and fairways are on the way
Good Value
This is a good layout for a course that runs a little short. In early April, the fairways were patchy and we had to play the ball up, but the greens were somehow in immaculate shape. A little congested for the first few holes, but after the turn, pace of play was a non-factor.
The old school snack bar inside is also very good. Assuming the fairways are better in the summer, this is a gem.
