Great course and well taken care of. Some of the best greens I played on this year!
First round
We played our first round at eagle springs this past weekend, you hear “oh it’s a hidden gem” about every course, but, this course is really a hidden gem. I had no clue it was even there and I’ve been playing golf 3 times a week all over the area even into Illinois. The views here are gorgeous the course was VERY well maintained. We played tips and there wasn’t hardly a blade of grass missing in the tee boxes. Definitely recommend the course and will be playing here many times to come.
Slowest I’ve ever seen in my life
We were the 3rd 4 some waiting to tee off on 2nd hole, while there’s a group in the fairway waiting on a group on the green
Greens look good but very slow
I grew up playing this course. It has a good layout and some challenging holes. Some of the tea boxes need a lot of care. The greens look immaculate but we're very spongy and extremely slow. Greens need to be aerated backfilled and rolled. It was like putting on shag carpet. If they get those two things fixed this could be a four-star public course.

Everyone had the same idea play golf it was packed slow steady play hot made for a long day in the sun
Course is ready for play
I am always happy with this course if I had to nick pick I wish they could work on the cart paths I know it is probably expensive but maybe a section here and there people are driving in the grass to avoid the potholes

The course was in good condition overall. The greens are beautiful, but are too slow. Pace of play was slow and no marshals to speed things up.
Course not in typical condition
I play this course about 6x a year. Usually, the course is in decent condition but yesterday was really terrible. Truth be told, It should not have been open due to extremely wet conditions coupled with unmown fairways. If you played there yesterday (5/5) I wouldn;t it against them. Like I said, the mistake was in being open but it's a hard economic choice to forego Sunday revenue. What they should do IS a rebate, maybe a nominal ($10) incentive to rebook. Just a thought
