Great condition, some pretty cool holes.
Last time I played here was about 7 years ago. Conditions have greatly improved. Fairways seem over seeded and lush. Greens in great shape. Forgot how good some of the holes are here. Not a long course, but definitely need precise shots to fairways, and small greens make it a challenge. I’ll be back!
Nice course
Course was in very good shape except for the sand traps. Finished 18 holes in 3.5 hours. Challenging but not to the point of frustration for a high handicap player like myself.
Good Value
Course condition is much improved over the last couple years. Very competitive rates.
Course not in great condition.
This course had standing water and plants in some of the sandboxes. I can understand the water due to rain, but there were several sand traps nearly overgrown by grass/plants. Nothing was in great condition, especially for the entry fee. Just an overall let down.
Rough, but I can see the vision
The course is in rough shape. Greens were good, but the fairways and tees are in repair mode. Sand traps were all water filled or mud. I know Walters has taken over this course, and you can tell they are working on it, but it will take time. I suggest you wait until mid summer to make the journey to Sullivan.
Worth the drive
Nice course, greens in good shape. Grass not in yet still early
Great course for the price
This is a great course for the price, It is somewhat challenging on some holes and easy on some. A lot of fun to play.
nice course
nice course not hilly. lot of dogleg holes. greens in good shape. A few fairways needed more grass. Nice course, would play again.
Worth the trip, for sure
Course outline is pretty straightforward and easy to play. Perfect for beginners and family outings. Fairways were decent and playable, with a few bare spots, but not complaining. Greens are great and challenging elevations. Rough is deep, but with limited staff due to Covid-19, that’s understandable. Highly recommend and will be back again. They have CARTS available, huge bonus!!!
Worth the drive.
Today was the first time I have ever made the 50 minute drive from Chesterfield to Sullivan to play the Sullivan Golf Club and it was well worth the time. Not a long course and the zoysia in the fairways needs to green up but it was still challenging and fun. The staff was great and I plan to play there again soon.
Nice course
Played here many times, I drive out from St. Louis. Excellent all around. Nice challenging layout. Course is in great condition.
A OK
We played on a cold day in December. Course was in good condition considering the wx. We played so so but had fun.
Hidden Gem
From St. Louis. This course is about a 50 minutes drive. I'm glad I went. I've play a lot of public courses this year. The greens here were the best. "Fast" and in terrific shape. Interesting layout. Take the course map with you on the course. Lots of twists and turns.
Go there. You won't be disappointed.
Fun golf course
Has some interesting holes
Greens were in good shape and pretty quick
Fairways were spotty, rough was spotty. Has lots of trees!
Water/creek comes into play a lot.
We played late Saturday morning in 3 hours for a threesome.
Great round
Great round of golf to start off a holiday weekend. Had a down pour of rain move in o. 2nd hole. But half hour late skys cleared.
