Course is nice they had an outing for a school that we did not know about when booking online, had we known would have tried another day. Really slowed s down

Failed reservation
The course probably won't get the reservation from golf now. The foursome scheduled before were also missed. The front nine was loaded up with slow foursomes and I started off the back nine. The course also did give me the price I locked in from golf now.

This is not Torrey Pines, by any means. But it’s a decent course with a good staff for the money.

Leave your driver in the bag
Pros:
The course is pretty.
Course conditions are improving.
Greens are gettable and fun to putt.
Cons:
Trees are overgrown, narrowing fairways considerably.
Tee boxes are in rough shape; hard to find a level spot.
Starter was AWOL, and there was no ranger to move the pace along.

Not worth the money
First and foremost this is a challenging course. What I don’t like is they have a lot of unkempt areas of play and for the price of $35(non-resident??) I hoped that it would be in better condition from previous years. And the fact that I can get a cheaper rate through GN is just downright ridiculous!! I still don’t understand why non-residents pay more. Are we possibly doing more damage to the course than residents? I don’t think so. Well Hilltop that’s the last dime you’ll get from me. Too many courses within driving distance that are a better value! Rouge Park for instance.

Gave it one star just because it’s a golf course
Gave it one star just because it’s a golf course. A very unkempt course grass wasn’t cut muddy soggy not manicured at all looks like it was ready to close for good . Wasn’t even worth the cheap price we paid to golf here.

Really nice course w/ extremely challenging greens
Great value. $14! Greens all had massive hills and slopes. Playing again next weekend. Highly recommend this course. 18 holes in 4 hrs. Good pace as well.

Wet day
Course held a lot of water from the rain the night before. Rough was super high because ground to wet to cut. Pretty much had to play two balls a hole because if you were not in the middle of the green you didnt find your ball. Still a nice day we had a foursome out we never caught up to anyone and no one caught up to us. Staff was great too
