About
Cherry Creek Golf Club winds through stands of mature oak, ash, and cherry trees. The rolling landscape is the perfect setting for a round, which has helped build the club's reputation as one of metro Detroit's premier public golf courses. Although it is a public course, the club offers the quality and amenities of a private club. The course is challenging but playable with four sets of tees that can accommodate all skill levels. The versatile layout is a popular option for tournaments and outings. In addition to the golf course, Cherry Creek's driving range and training area was ranked as the best practice facility in southeast Michigan. The facilities include a 50-station driving range with seven target greens of varying yardages, two putting greens, and three practice greens with bunkers.

Cherry creek
Great course little crowded but the course was in great shape! Cherry creek lives up to its rating as a sister course of Shepards hollow!
Challenging course
Good bunkers, lots of water very good maintenance and excellent clubhouse
Nice course, a little pricey
This is a nice course. Well taken care of and nice staff. Relatively high green fees limit my visits to this course as there are many good courses that are priced less. But, I must say again that it is very nice and a good course to play. I have no complaints at all other than price.
Great layout 10-18
It was my first time and we only played 9 holes, but it was a great course. Will definitely be back.
Driving range
The driving range is great if you like hitting off the dirt. A $10 bucket to hit off the dirt. They never move the ropes on the driving range, again awsome if you enjoy practicing hitting out of a bad lie.
Death March
Front nine was tolerable. Back nine. Ridiculous. More than 3 hours. Where was ranger?
Also beverage cart girl blew right by us while. On. Her phone in never looked up.
Disappointed
They booked us for 18 holes knowing we would be behind a league at the turn. They had a 2 group back up by number 11. Very slow players ahead of us. Had we known we would be behind league we never would have played there. Was not able to finish our round due to darkness. Definetly not going back.
Beautiful course
Great course. Challenging doglegs with fast greens.
Friendly staff. Has the " Country Club" feel without the CC green fees, thanks to Golf now!!
Great Course
Only negative is pro shop decided to send church outing off on back nine which severely slowed down pace of play
I like this course a lot! Definitely a $50 course! I won't pay the $70 On a weekend unless I find a hot deal on golf now!
Cherry Creek has one of the best practice facilities I have ever been to!
Slow pace
The pace was very slow. Took over 5 hours to play 18 at 845 AM.
We approached the ranger and he was more interested in playing on his phone.
No breakfast sandwiches was a let down also.
Cherry Creek - excellent course and experience
Great amenities and course. Was a bit nervous about the pace of play based on reviews, however we played in 4 hours on a Holiday. Will definitely be back to play Cherry Creek.

Very surprised
You truly feel like you are up north on this track. The layout is very nice and the course conditions were just right. Highly recommended this course to all levels.
Snail's Pace
The pace of play was horrendously slow as they book too many tee times back to back. In addition, the gentleman in the clubhouse was extremely rude. When asked about the pace of play his response was, "If you want to play a 2hr 9 you need to go join a private course." It too 3hrs to make the turn! In addition, it is way too expensive in comparison to other courses in the area that are maintained better. I will not go back in the future.
