2nd, par-3, 203 yards. The longest and most difficult par-3 on the course. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

You’ll need a solidly struck iron to find the fourth green in regulation. Par-3, 152. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

The par-4 fifth, which plays uphill at 303 yards, is as tough as nails for a short hole. Fives and sixes are likely far more common here than scores of three. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

The sixth may not be a long hole, but it is the #5 index. The views are compensation, though, for any woes you may experience. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Loudon’s fourteenth is a drive and pitch hole of 386, where most golfers will choose to lay up before the large pond. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Tee boxes need work
Course layout is interesting and scenic. Fairways need some attention but are ok. Greens were in great shape. Tee boxes are horrible. This is the only time a player can creat their own lie and it was hard to find flat ground and good grass on many of the tee boxes. Also, the amount of crab grass on the tee boxes was mind boggling. I’d recommend the course but with a warning to be ready for rough tee boxes.
Beautiful Course, difficult greens
Great place. Would play it again. Greens are super steep (mountain/hill side course) but roll fairly true. Probably gorgeous in the fall w/the foliage.
Nice course
Course was in good condition. Greens were very slow though. Pace was good. Would definitely play again
Tough course. Great course, but tough.
Love Loudon. Hadn’t played there in years and it’s just as beautiful and well kept as ever but despite my new-found swagger on the links, Loudon CC reminded me I still have a way to go before I can consider myself worthy of the challenge. Still, I’ll be back!
From a 3 to a 4
The weather definitely improved the course from a couple months ago. Challenging, firm greens, so bring your best short game.
Mostly good. But...
This is an interesting layout. Short, but enough trouble to make you pay attention. The tee boxes were terrible - very sloped and weedy (where they weren't bare). There were lots of bare patches in the fairways as well. The greens were very good, just a touch slow but immaculate. Not much in the way of s clubhouse or bar/restaurants. Pace of play was awesome. Our foursome played in 3-1/2 hours. Overall, it was above average. Don't go with very high expectations and you won't be disappointed.

Great Course
First time here and I really enjoyed it. Nice layout, nice fairways and greens, scenic, and the food at the restaurant after was delicious!
Great day
Good round as usual at Loudon course is in good shape and the staff is always excellent
Worth the ride from anywhere.
Really nice layout on this course. Great staff, good food in the restaurant and a great pace of play even during its busiest times. I really like this course & highly recommend it.
Great Course
I am by no means a good golfer, consistently I score in the low 90's, and this course provides a great challenge for me, and for my friends that are more experienced golfers. Course has always been well maintained every time I play, and the staff have always been very friendly!
Loudon is Lousy
Sometimes you have to tell it like it is. Loudon is lousy. I was excited to play it for the first time, but that quickly went away when the young man in the Pro Shop said I would be following the 10 guys on the first tee. It may have been the Young, Neanderthal, Backwards Hat Wearing, Slow Play Open. After 4 holes in 90 minutes, I jumped the 3 groups, and found an empty back nine. I came back and played the 5 holes I skipped later. The course conditions were not much better. More weeds than grass in the fairways. The greens are grassy, but thick and slow. A lot of areas were just dust and rocks. The best kept areas are the 2 yards of the homes behind the 7th green. It was a true, all around disappointment at LCC today. It looks and feels like they just stopped caring about everything.
