2nd, par-3, 203 yards. The longest and most difficult par-3 on the course. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

You’ll need a solidly struck iron to find the fourth green in regulation. Par-3, 152. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

The par-4 fifth, which plays uphill at 303 yards, is as tough as nails for a short hole. Fives and sixes are likely far more common here than scores of three. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

The sixth may not be a long hole, but it is the #5 index. The views are compensation, though, for any woes you may experience. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Green six is well guarded by a frontal pond. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Loudon’s fourteenth is a drive and pitch hole of 386, where most golfers will choose to lay up before the large pond. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Pleasant suprise
I played this course the day after I played 27 holes at Pease. This was hands-down the better course (except the Blue Course at Pease ... which was much better than the red or white courses). I had no expectations when I got to Loudon and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the course. Course is well balanced between wide open vs narrow and demanding; has a little of both. Greens rolled true. Some elevation changes between holes kept things interesting. Wish I would’ve played better. Looking forward to trying to better my score here
Interesting
This was my first time playing the course. The practice area was marginal, the tees were in fair condition. The fairways were good, the greens were excellent. What made it an interesting round was that the greens are very small and crowned, requiring precise approach shots. It is not a long course, but drives had to be in the fairway in order to have a chance at par. I ended up missing many greens and therefore had to do much more chipping and pitching than I'm used to--not the best part of my game. It's not a lush course, but I would go back because it forced me out of my comfort zone, and made me execute shots I was not used to having to make.
Great course beautiful views
Played early morning light warm rain on and off. Beautiful course visually and can be an enjoyable challenge for the older golfer if you dont play forward tees. Nice open fairways edged with mature trees.
Course is in great condition and the staff is exceptional.
liked it!
Not a long course, but challenging with elevation changes and some blind shots. Good condition would play again
Good tract
This is one of 4 courses we include in our regular rotation. Always in good shape, good layout. Tough greens as they’re small and sometimes difficult to hold shots on, but they roll the way you read ‘em.
Enjoyed Loudon Country Club
I really enjoyed playing at Loudon. Course is in good condition and greens are phenomenal. Staff was great as well as the weather. Will definitely be back!
Great day of golf
I have played here multiple times as it is a well layed out course that rewards good shots. Starting with the first hole you need to choose wisely what club to hit. Greens are in great shape and were holding well. Some holes have very tricky greens and balls need to be hit to the right section. Overall another great experience and couldn’t beat walking for $37 on a weekend. Word of advice the course is pretty hilly so waking is a little tough.
Online booking
I was disappointed to find that the cost was the same online as it would’ve been if I paid at the golf course. Plus there was an additional $7.28 charged for two of us to book online, where I could’ve called directly and saved that charge. Normally, one box online because it is less expensive if not more expensive. In the future, I will probably just call the golf course directly and not go through GolfNow unless there is some sort of hot deal.
GREAT TIME!!!!
Only downfall is dirt paths and the range. Full breakfast offered, got us on early, good Bloodies, tough course but forgiving in spots.
Great Spring Golf!
Greens were in excellent condition and the elevation changes make for a challenging round. Multiple tee boxes make the course playable for all skill levels.
Great conditions for early in the season
We enjoyed the layout, conditions and the courteous staff. Will definitely play here again...
