Over priced
Good layout but tees and greens hard as rock. Went there because they were supposed to have best greens in New Hampshire. Greens were 3 on 10 Scale
Beautiful October day
Ridgewood is a nice, picturesque course with beautiful mountains in the background. Always a pleasure to play the course.

OK so all the courses are aerating now , that aside Ridgewood is in great shape.
This is a great layout and the front always plays tougher than the back. Fairways and tee boxes all in good shape. Greens were probably punched a week or two ago.
Play this course and you will be glad you did.
Beautiful views
Nice course, beautiful views, could use more shade, backed up by one very slow 4 some.
It was ok
Not much of a design. I'm not sure who the architect was, but he's in the wrong business.
The 9th hole, is probably one of the worst holes I've ever played, It looks like they were desperate to find a way to get the Front 9 back to the Clubhouse and came up with a god awful routing of the 9th hole, to do it.
Other than the 9th, the layout was ok. A nice view from a couple of holes. The course has a serious drainage problem. It's barely rained here in a month, yet the course was saturated, most everywhere.
The greens were probably running about 8, but they were fairly tricky, as the course is mostly surrounded by mountains.
Condition in general, was about what you'd expect at a lower-end public course. Given they're really the only course in the area, they can get away with skimping on maintenance and people will still play it.
We are better golfers this year but it's still a tough course for our skill level
This is a great course,, but the wetlands hazards make it not for the faint of heart. We played here a few times last summer. We forgot how the water hazards suck up golf balls. We'll be back after I buy a bucket of golf balls.
Rude staff
Booked through golfnow like I've done a dozen times , when i arrived was told they don't use golfnow anymore, basically was told to leave. No consumer relation skills at all.
Still challenging, but fun
Now that the two of us have played more this summer, Ridgewood is not so frustrating. We continue to play from the gold tees and can now complete most of the holes without losing a ball or taking seven or more strokes. Course was in great shape and we were practically alone this day. Sad to see the season ending.
