Den Brae’s third hole, a “Volcano” template with falloffs on three sides, demands nothing less than an outstanding tee shot for a GIR. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/22/2025

The fourth, par-5, 500 yards: The fairway tumbles downhill from the tee and is protected by a pair of bunkers in the landing zone. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/22/2025

The course has a relatively open, spacious feel on about half of the holes. This again is the par-5 fourth. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/22/2025

The eighth is a fine driving hole that favors a draw. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/22/2025

At Den Brae’s final hole, the fairway curves uphill to a raised, sloping green guarded by a pair of hidden bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/22/2025

Architect Henry Homan used the terrain well at nine, making its green a hard target to hit. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/22/2025

Great course friendly staff great staff
I’m looking forward to coming back
Player friendly course
Was a very player friendly course. The par three is tricky, but a lot of holes to score on!
Great course friendly staff really well worth it for great golf
Truly a great find out of the way
Such a great friendly staff and great course
We’ll definitely be going back in the future
first time this year, and still a fun course
The course was in excellent shape. Varied terrain. Fairly open, which is good for my skill level (not too many lost balls).
Great find in the Lakes Region
Most fairways are wide open, so a player can really unleash the driver. There's opportunity galore to score, but there is still some challenge to the course. Conditions were very fine, and I played 18 in just over 3 hours, playing alone.
Best 9 hole course in N.H.
I love playing there. Great course and fantastic staff. It’s very well maintained with beautiful scenery. The golf pro, Sam has given excellent lessons to improve my game. I recommend this course to all.
Great layout
My first time golfing was 2 years ago. The staff at Den Brae was very helpful in showing me the proper way to hold a club, swing, and follow through. I’ve had a great lesson with Sam (golf pro) and try to incorporate the information he gave me to be successful.
The staff makes you feel at home, no pressure. The grounds are well kept and just challenging enough for a newbie.
I would highly recommend this course!
