Twilight Hour
The course is in great shape except for a few tee boxes. The greens are very inconsistent which can get frustrating, and they usually play very slow. The course was overbooked with multiple groups ahead of us and behind us so we could not get 18 holes in before dark.
The layout is ok, wide fairways. Pace of play was horrible. The ranger was useless. I was partnered in a cart with somebody I don't know. No safety concern.

in my opinion the worst of three Essex County golf courses - layout of the back nine is no fun. greens are poorly maintained. BTW the photo on the golf now site is of 9th hole at Byrne course, not Hendricks. Play this course when all others are closed

Poor service
We had a 05:20 tee time and due to traffic my partner and I arrived just before the tee time and we were told that the course policy is be there 20 minutes before and that we lost our tee time and would have to wait until there was an opening. My partner was so upset he told the starter off and we left the course. That was our second time at the course and our last time.

Good course to work on your game. Back nine goes faster than front nine.

Nice course
Overall had a good day at the course , everything went well and as expected

Slow greens
Course was hit by big storm previous night, some damage to trees, lot of branches down but overall course was in good shape and playable. Greens were slow due to weather, so not cut or rolled. Not a long or difficult course, great to work on your game.
