Short course
I have played Forge Pond several times before, but not in a few years. I didn’t recall how many short yardage holes they have, nor the very narrow fairways on most holes. One of the better holes, hole #9, for some reason was cut in half in yardage, which made no sense to me, since the old fairway was nice. If you don’t mind losing a good amount of balls, though a short course, they keep it in good condition.
Rain —— closed holes
Previous rain closed 5 holes on 10/1/23. Didn’t know until we got there. Wished golf now advised
All the people who work there make the round even better. They are friendly and a pleasure to talk with while waiting for my tee time.
The course is in excellent shape so the grounds crew needs a pat on the back also.

It's a great course for training your short game.
The course is narrow, sometimes difficult, and loaded with 3 pars. You will lose a lot of balls and 3-putt all day. It's more of a glorified pitch and putt. That being said, it's a quick, quiet, fun, course, that is great for improving your short game, because it's not forgiving and you never feel rushed. Just bring extra balls, and wedges.

Second time ever playing had a great time playing curse was awesome conditions were great great balance of challenging and easy holes. Definitely would play again
Excellent all around
I brought my nephew there for the first time.We were booked as a threesome, but added a fourth without notifying the course. At first they said they couldn't fit us, but after some discussion, the starter found a way to get all of is on time. Thanks again to those working at the course and saving our day!!
Don't waste your money
Horrible conditions and play speed. Many many beginners and the Rangers were not controlling anything. Course was packed and we caught up to a single in a cart even though their were twosome also playing back to back instead of sending out foursomes. Horrible don't waste your money
