Green Knoll Golf Course in Bridgewater Township has a varied terrain that provides a unique character to the course. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills dappled with mature trees. Much of the course's challenges are a result of the tricky contours. Some of the elevation changes are dramatic but there are also some subtle ones, which can be just as tricky. Further accuracy is required to maneuver the tight fairways. There are definitely challenges in store throughout but overall the golf course's playability appeals to all skill levels, from novices to avid golfers. It measures a manageable 6,443 yards from the back tees. In addition to the 18-hole course, there is also a nine-hole pitch-and-putt course. Green Knoll is one of five golf courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission.

Conditions were amazing
Amazing course with a great layout
You can tell the superintendent takes pride in his course, greens roll so true and are all so consistent.
Good course condition in the fall
The golf course is in excellent shape. Green is fast.
Fun, good walking course
This course is a lot of fun. Many hole requires thinking ahead about where to put your tee shot so you have a clear shot for the green with your second shot and many green require being smart about where you hit your approach, especially 5, 6 and 8 because of water. Many teeshots are blind, so it helps to play with someone who's played the course before. Bugs are an issue so bring spray or do what I do a smoke a big fat cigar!
Great Round of Golf
I wasn’t sure what to expect of Green Knoll. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Beautiful views. Course is in great shape. Fairways and greens are wonderful. I will be going back soon.
Ok layout...a few odd holes
Starter jammed a twosome in between the 740 and 750 time we had and jammed everything
Easy walking and fast play
The bugs made it a miserable round. Even the insect repellent didn’t work.
If you can live with being eaten by bugs then book it.
Otherwise stay away.
Green Knoll greens are in amazing shape! So fast!!!
Great round today. The course is in exceptional shape. The greens were incredibly fast.
Last minute reservation which turned out to be a great time. Course staff is organized and informative. Accomodated single person cart use but walking the course is not difficult or over exhausting. Used a cart since it was my first time but wouldn't mind walking next time.
Fairways were in great condition. Greens were perfect. Bunkers were clean and rough was well maintained. Forgiving course for mishitting drives but definitely a good course to visit.
This course is very challenging,if you try and force some difficult shots you can get into trouble very easily.
First time playing this course. Could not believe how well maintained it is. Fairways in great shape and the greens were fantastic ! And this was after a heavy rainstorm. The Starter and Staff were very friendly and informative. I look forward to playing this course again and will definitely recommend it to everyone.
Good day out
There are enough holes that require a good placement to make your next shot count. It's a very nice course and usually fun to play. Greens are good and the fairways were in good shape. Rough is tough to play out of so I guess the idea is don't hot in the rough. Simple approach isn't it?
Great course and conditions!
I play all over the area and this course is one the best kept courses.
