Green Knoll Golf Course in Bridgewater Township has a varied terrain that provides a unique character to the course. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills dappled with mature trees. Much of the course's challenges are a result of the tricky contours. Some of the elevation changes are dramatic but there are also some subtle ones, which can be just as tricky. Further accuracy is required to maneuver the tight fairways. There are definitely challenges in store throughout but overall the golf course's playability appeals to all skill levels, from novices to avid golfers. It measures a manageable 6,443 yards from the back tees. In addition to the 18-hole course, there is also a nine-hole pitch-and-putt course. Green Knoll is one of five golf courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission.

Nice course for the everyday golfer a nice little setup good mixture of short par 3 n average par 4s mixed in with a few par 5s
Nice course
Nice course, rough a little deep, so not forgiving. Maybe start out of it!
Good time
The course was in good shape with the greens rolling very nice. Playing this course the second time around allowed for selecting better targets having an understanding of the layout. Will go back again as it is an enjoyable time.
Very Green Knoll
My first trip back to this course in a very long time did not disappoint. The course is in great shape! Greens and fairways are excellent. New carts too. I lucked out as a storm rolled thru just before my tee time and the course emptied out. Had the course to myself which is unheard of in this area. Frank, the starter, was very helpful.
Great to be back!
I played Green Knoll the week before COVID-19 forced all golf course to close in NJ. The course was in good shape then, but I have to say the 6 weeks without traffic made it that much better. The fairways were lush, the rough challenging and full, and the greens were like indoor carpeting. While it was strange to see PVC piping protecting the cups and flags, I appreciate the safety precautions. I'd rather make a few sacrifices on the course, than be at home without golf. Thanks to the staff for reopening at such a high level!
