Gambler Ridge Golf Club

Course was in great condition. The greens were challenging and were maintained well. Loved that you couldn’t take driver all the time since there are hazards all around.

Employees were friendly and pace of play was excellent! Finish my round in 3 hours and 15 minutes!

I played gamblers maybe half a dozen time last two seasons. It is improved each and every time I’ve been there. It ranks up with much more expensive courses like LBI national, blue Heron, Harbour Pines, etc.. we played early so the greens were a little wet and slow as a result, but they dried out quickly. The course is challenging yet open enough so misfits are playable. If I have any criticism, it’s that the rough can be really rough. I routinely take golfers from other parts of the state and out of state to our local golf courses. You can be sure I’ll be taking them to gamblers often.

Fun day on the course. Greens were in good shape. Grounds were maintained well and staff was helpful.

Decent course in decent shape. The front's fairways were pretty narrow and the greens were not that big, which is typical of older courses. The back opened up and greens sizes were larger and more what I am used to. The ball settles in the first cut, so it is important to be in the fairway. I think the greens are bent grass, so you have to pay attention to which way it is bent or putts will seem slow or fast.

Pace of play was horrible, waited to hit every shot. The group in front of us must have all been over 70 and 1 gentleman decided to walk every hole. No disrespect to them but this seemed like a seniors course to us. 63 bucks to play and 11.25 for a beer and hotdog not worth it.

The course maintenance and revisions are noticeable and improving under new ownership. The greens maintenance has drastically improved

Wow

We really enjoyed our game yesterday with all the improvements and their staff

Great time

Haven’t played there in three years I couldn’t believe all the work they have done to it. They made a 3 1/2 star course or even a three star course to afford a 4 1/2 star course and my estimation good for Gamblers Ridge.

Course was great loved the improvements . Cart girl was great Kelcee. Was not happy with the 45 minute wait for a bacon egg and cheese at the bar though.
