Opened in 1929, Old Orchard Country Club has a classic design with challenges that stand up to modern golf courses. Throughout the course, you'll see traces of the site's former use as a farm. Ancient apple trees from the original orchard frame many of the holes. The diverse layout will test you with a variety of different shots but the gently rolling terrain makes for an easy walk. Skill and strategy will be generously rewarded but it's not an overly punishing layout for the high handicapper. Old Orchard's greens play true and fast and they are often flanked with strategically positioned bunkers. A stream wanders through the golf course, coming into play on several holes. Golfers will face a tricky island green on the par-5 seventh hole as well as an almost-island green on the par-4 13th.

Cow pasture
The greens were terr. The sand traps had bunches of weeds growing in them and were unraked. The green was cut, but they left the dead grass cuttings right where they cut them. If you hit your ball 2 feet off the fairway, you either lost your ball or wasted a good deal of time looking for it. The tee boxes are a disgrace. Downed branches everywhere. Waste of time and money.
Wooof
The course has not been maintained since opening. The rough was so unkept that unless you use colored balls or made it to the fairway each shot, you’d lose your ball. Not worth the $60 and it’s embarrassing by whoever owns the course. Show some pride and cut the lawn maybe.
Lawn Mower
Get a lawnmower so we can find our balls.
The course has great potential but needs some taking care of.

Where’s the ball???
If your ball wasn’t on the fairway good luck finding it. It was like a jungle out there. Had to take so many drops because the thigh high thick weeds that is literally everywhere. Greens were decent. I was told it wasn’t the best track to play but being so limited to tee tiles during these times I decided to give it a shot. For 70 bucks it was not worth it.

Everything was awful green and fairways were the same as the rough

Do they own a lawn mower?
I cant believe how horrible the condition of this course was. I really dint think they own a lawn mower. It’s a shame cause the course has so much potential. $70 was a complete rip off for this. Won’t be back ever.

56 days
The fairway was rough and the if u hit the ball in The rough u lose it the grass was so tall. We figured 56 days of no golf so the course should be pristine but if was complete opposite and I won’t be going back to the place there was no starter no beer or food nothing at all
Honestly I almost walked back to the clubhouse to demand a refund ($60) after the 3rd hole.. Never have I seen this place in the shape it was.. Must have lost a half dozen balls on the fairway due to the fact that there whole course was way over grown.. Greens were atrocious..fairways were like hitting out of the rough.. literally looked like they haven't cut the grass in over a month!! Forget your ball if you slightly slice or hook it in the tree line.. never again!

Terrible Course
This was my first and last time playing this course. For 60 dollars the course was a wreck. The grass was about 6 inches tall and where the grass was cut the clippings where in huge piles all over. Path carts horrible!!! Would never honor recommend this course. I feel I should get a refund for the aggravation!!

Great getting out to play. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. I really hope they fix up the course. The greens were dried out. This could really be a nice place with some fixing up. Always good to play here.

Cow pasture
The course is in horrible condition. The bunkers have weeds growing in them. There was cut dried grass everywhere. Down trees, broken branches throughout the course. The greens were like a shag carpet. Last time for me at that dump.
Worst I've seen in quite awhile
This course has a good layout but unfortunately is in poor shape. Tee boxes, fairways (I wouldn't call them fair) and greens are in bad shape. Fairway with five inch tall (I wouldn't call it) grass. This place has deteriorated greatly in the last few years. Don't trust the reviews you see here. I do believe you need to see it for yourself and I think you'll agree that unless more money is put into this course it will never live up to expectations. Go play there and you'll see what I mean. The best part are the greens and the views and that's not saying much, It was a complete waste of my money.

The Course Needs Some TLC
The track is a good one with some challenging holes. The condition of the course has been neglected. It is a shame because with some TLC this course would be a great one to play on an ongoing basis. If you want to get out and play, this course serves the purpose. If you are looking for a course in pristine condition, look elsewhere.

It’s in tough shape
Fairways are way too long and the greens are always really slow. Rough is in terrible Shape and it’s so long you’ll lose a couple balls in plain sight. Tee boxes are terrible and the bunkers have all the mowed grass in them and no sand.

Great layout and staff was great
Love the setup of the course and the staff was very cool. Course needed to be worked on a bit but enjoyed playing there. I will be playing there again.
