Old Orchard Country Club

Snuck out for a quick 18 late in the day - and had a great time! I showed up without a tee time and got right out. Cart was clean and the course was in great shape - especially compared to other local courses I’ve played recently. Although there were others with the same idea (sneaking out for a few holes), I never felt pushed/rushed. Finally, the staff was friendly and jovial. I’ll definitely be back to play again!

I’ve been playing this course for a few yrs now, it used to be a pretty good bang for your buck, but now idk if you could even send farm animals out there to eat. The fairways if youd even be generous enough to call them that and greens are solid as a rock. My group lost numerous balls that were just off the fairway and the last time i checked this course wasnt on the list for US Open qualifiers so I have no clue why its so high. The bunkers were either full of mud and water, had grass growing in them or had that nasty dried up grass/sand combo that looks like badly baked brownies. By the end of the round the only redeeming quality of this place was between seeing your car and getting out quickly or the fact every hole actually had a pin on the green. Ive caddied for the better half of my life so I know what a golf course should look like and I do realize that its public course and wont be pristine but if you have the audacity to charge $60 to play here make it at least worth it. It most certainly will be my last time there for quite a while if ever again. Please go elsewhere and dont donate your money to this place

played this week with 3 friends, after reading reviews took a chance. I must say we were all pleasantly surprised, We had a great day course conditions were very good other than some fairway bunkers

all others were decent tee boxes and fairways cut nicely, Snack house was open had the best hotdog in a long time staff were all nice made for a great day I would advise anyone to try this course We Will be back often This golf season

The course was in terrible shape. Tee boxes were not cut. The ground was hard as a rock (could not take a divot). First cut was ankle high. Even lost a ball in the fairway that was not cut. Not worth $70

This is a $15 course walking and maybe $30 if you ride. The conditions of this course are deplorable. Grass growing in sand traps that have not been raked in years. The rough and fairway look almost the same To many complaints to list.

First of all my cart died twice 1st time on the 5th hole and our tee time was 7:20am, no excuses for that. Course was kept like trash, not saying $60 to play is a lot but I would expect better. Couldn’t tell the fairway from the ruff, no difference at all.. I will never play here again. $60 is a rip-off, seems like they don’t care what the course looks like people will still play like shmucks like me. Save the $60 bucks and play somewhere better then here.

We did not play. One of my guys got hurt on his job. We had to cancel. I called old orchard Friday afternoon and cancelled.

It was a pretty decent course last time I played there. Yesterday was horrible. Grass cuttings everywhere. The bunkers looked like the surface of Mars.If you missed the green by 3 feet forget about finding your ball. The cart paths are like roads in third world countries. The place is like a construction site. Last time there for me.

Was a member for many years. Sad to see the course not being improved or even kept up. Looks like the only thing they do is cut the grass. What a waste.

We arrived 30 minutes early. It was a dreary day. Only 5 cars in the parking lot. We had a noon tee time thru golf now. When we check in the attendant tells us to go to the putting green a ND wait about 10 minutes to tee off. We started laughing their was nobody on the course or coming in. Why do we have to wait . He says we'll your 30 min early. We couldn't stop laughing . So what there is nobody here. Just another way these courses treat golf now customers badly. This has happened to us at other places. My suggestion get off golf now if your going to treat it's customers as 2nd class golfers. Anyway. Horrible tee boxes . You cannot distinguish between fairway and rough. Do they own a lawn mower? Greens were fine thankfully. This course has such a nice layout. It could be a gem. Why they won't spend a dime on it I don't know. It's worth the $17 golf now price but no more.

Layout is challenging / clubhouse and some fairways could use some work but not as bad as some would have you believe - would definitely play again

Grass was so over grown..even after the course cut it..more weeds then grass...dirt in sand traps instead of sand..greens were ok..I even got a great deal from golf now only paid $16 with cart and that was to much..you won't see me back..there should bulldozer

Just air rated so greens are a little rough but otherwise course is in good shape

Conditions were deplorable. Grass was high and course is in need of disparate maintenance. Course has a nice layout, but is deteriorating fast. Course needs to step it up and buy a lawn mower.

The shame of this course is that you can tell at one time it was in great shape!!!!

The layout was very neat even though I was only able to play the front nine.

Especially the #7 island hole!!!

I probably won’t be returning, but you never know. Maybe they will put some love into the course and get it back to its glory days.

Course is somewhat of a mess. Certainly not worth $50 on a Friday afternoon. Fairway doesn’t really exist. Good luck with the aeration piles if you’re on the fringe, etc.

Even though it was early in the season and many people are complaining you have to remember its April. I’ve played this course in July and August and this course never disappoints. The fairways are big and the island par 5 is my favorite! Will be playing this course often!

5 years ago i said i would never play here again it was so bad ....well for $18 i thought i would give it another shot..it had to improve over 5 years...HAH !...put our clubs on the cart and started to drive and the whole back of the cart came apart and down went the clubs still attached to the straps and plastic...not a good start....tee boxes were bad...couldn't distinguish between fairways and rough...bare spots and clumps of grass on every hole...fallen trees and branches everywhere....most traps were unplayable....rotten and uneven wooden foot bridges were dangerous...thought we were going to fall in mucky whatever....the only thing good about the day was the pace of play...there was no one else on the course !!!!
