Amazing
The course was great. The only thing is getting into the park cost you 10.00. They use to refund your ticket but not now. So what ever your cost is to play add another 10 dollars. Which I think is a rip off. The course is great loved all of it. Except getting into the park.
Great Condition Cant beat the Price!
Course was in great condition from tee box to green not a blade of grass out of place. Even though the course is long, 6400 from white, 6600 from blue, the course is forgiving and didn't seem to play as long as others with same yardage. Highly recommend this course, 5 stars all the way.
Always a nice course to play.
IMO, the best of all the metro park courses. Greens and fairways in excellent condition even t boxes are in great shape.
Overbooked
Nice course, well maintained, just had a league in front of me on a Monday evening, which wasn't surprising for during the week. However, there was a 6em in front of me playing a scramble and they still took forever on every hole. I was hitting 2 balls every hole and still waiting to tee off. To be fair I was warned about the league at check in. Ended up starting on the back 9 because the front was so booked there was a literal line at 5:30 pm!
One downside
Paying for parking. Changed policy on that. Driving range was a dirt patch. Some areas off the rough were in bad shape, fairways not as smooth. Greens in good shape, pins in some odd locations.
Bunch of young bucks hitting it out of bounds and holding up the whole course...its not normally Luke that.
$10 Park charge -beware
Wonderful golf course. There was however, no mention before hand that there was going to be a $10 charge (state park?) before entering. This was maddening since I was just there to golf, not use the park in any other way. Why would this be a charge if you are using the golf facilities and paying their rate? Not a good policy, especially when there is no mention of this beforehand.
