Indian Springs Metropark Golf Course

Originally played the course for the 7am tee time and price/location. Didn't expect much of a challenge due to the yardage and "metro park" course stigma. Turns out that other than the first 4-5 holes, this course will penalize you for inaccurracy and althugh the greens are not fast, there is enough undulation to put pins in locations that will drive you crazy. Great value for the money and now I want to play again just to prove to myself I can score there!

With the 18 dollar price this was a easy pick. The course plays fair with no trick shots or layups. The 4 of us had a good time.

The course is always in good condition, the only draw back is the pace of play 4-3/4 to 5 hours is to long. They need to have the ranger keep pace. Overall a great value for the money.

I play here a minimum once a week and I never get tired of playing it, keeps you coming back for more.

There were very few surprises on this course. Pretty straightforward. If you can hit the ball fairly straight and read a few breaks on the greens, you can definitely score well here. A good place to play to sharpen your driving skills and gain a bit of confidence. Caution on overconfidence leaving the course! Overall B- grade. Don't drive too far (or pay too much) to play this course or you will be disappointed. Be prepared for the MetroPark entrance fee ($5) also. $4 refunded by the course.

The course was in great condition. The staff was very friendly.
This was the first time I played here .The front nine is a easier than the back so hopefully you will have all the kinks ironed out by the turn. I really liked the course and will play it again.

The course was in good condition and some very nice holes. However the pace of play was terrible! We were backed up almost every hole and 16-18 we were three groups deep. No ranger was ever out there to manage the pace. Too bad because the course was nice and we will play it again anyway.

We have been hurried here twice by the Rangers even though we had a foursome and finished 18 in under 4 hours. There was an off duty ranger behind us so he probably wanted to get back his recliner. I now take a stopwatch. A staff member told me the pace is 15 minutes per hole so if I get harassed I will be ready. Other than these retirees on a power trip the place is great. I would recommend timing your round so as to be ready for the charge.

My husband & I play this course frequently. He is an experienced golfer & I am a beginner & we find this course suits both our needs. The staff is extremely friendly & helpful. We like this course very much.

we initially had an earlier tee time which the manager allowed us to change to a later time at no charge. We arrived early for our actual tee time and the starter allowed us to go ahead and tee off early. the course was in excellent shape and greens were fast. all around great experience. and since it was very Hot outside, we only finished 9 holes, and they gladly gave us a rain check for that nine, to come back and finish any time.

From tee to green this course was fun for my beginner golfing boys. I would highly recommend this course.

For $40 weekend morning walk on rate, this course along with a lot of the metro park courses are a very good value. You can walk on weekend mornings also, if you like. Course condition was very good, with greens in good shape....no fungus or rough spots. Hole 15 is kind of tricked up, but the rest of the layout is good with a mixture of dog legs and elevation changes.

This is a nice course to play for all skill levels.

The greens were not as receptive as I expected with al the recent rain. I wonder what it will be like without the rain.

I've never been a fan of the front 9 at Indian Springs because of the crooked / slanted greens but very much like the back 9. I've always enjoyed playing here and will come back, especially since my golf with cart was only $15!!!

Indian Springs has some challenging holes. Most holes play more difficult than they appear, if you ball isn't in the right spot off the tee.

Starter was very prompt at having groups ready for their Tee time at the first Tee. Slow play was experienced worst during the first 4 holes, but pace never achieved consistency throughout the round, a result of many walkers combined with 8 min Tee Times. Course was in Good Condition with generous fairways and playable rough, Greens rolled very well.

As an aging golfer that has lost much length I enjoyed playing the Gold tees. The course has generous fairways, easy bunkering, challenging greens and was in great condition. My twosome got around in 3 1/2 hours we and played through 2 groups without any problems. The cart was fine and the after round lunch was decent. I will probably go back.
