Hidden fees
They charge 10 dollars to enter the park on top of my green fees. I did not know thos when i paid my green fees in advance. Not the good deal you would think it was.

Excellent course.
Fairways open.
Coat was reasonable.

I did not realise i had to pay the metropark 10 dollars in addition to my greens fee to play this course. Iit looked like a good deal when i booked but when i arrived i got the 10 dollar suprise
Friendly and fun, great value
Friendly staff. With better conditions than expected, especially in Fall. Sand is the only issue for conditions, needs to be sifted...badly. but grounds crew and pro shop all are spectacular. With a full practice setting (greens, chipping, natural grass driving range) this is one of my favorite courses in the area. Strong recommendation for mid to high handicap players.
November golf in Michigan
The course was fun to play. The course was in good shape considering it is late in the season.
Frost Delay
Tee Time 920 and what do we find a line of golf carts come to find out it's because of a frost that came through. So 50 minutes later we get to tee off. But why so long a delay when we have the first tee to the front 9 and the 10th tee to the back nine side by side. Why not find out if some are only playing 9 holes let them play the back nine while the rest of us start the front. There were some that only plated 9. When we got done with front nine and started back 9 half the cars were gone meaning they didn't play 18 holes. Poor management as we got done after330.
You have to pay extra for the metro park pass $10 per car
Also, you have to sign a form with your personal information.
Picturesque golf
Gorgeous views, tee boxes, fairways, greens in beautiful shape. Trees starting to turn and then the course is wonderful to play. The one hole (Par 5 ) is almost 600 yards but not too tough
