Golfer Reviews
Could be good with more TLC
Conditions weren’t very good, but the course layout included some interesting holes. Unfortunately, one hole listed as 325 yards on the scorecard actually played at 210 yds. It looked like they no longer used the regular tee.
The hot deal made the value reasonable, but the Monmouth County public courses are all much better.
Disgrace
I have played the course many times in the past, and found it to be a fair course for a reasonable fee.But when I booked the course I knew that they were airratting which is fine, but when I got to the course and checked in I asked if there was temporary greens. I was told that they were almost done and there were no temps. The truth was they were not done in fact the superintendent pulled the flags and had his men working on the hole in the middle of play. I understand that airrattig is necessary but the superintendent was either clueless,or had no consideration for the people who keep the course operating. I will not play anytime soon.
Conditions are Much Better
Greens were WAY better than the last time I played here.
WAY less divots and unnecessary marks and flaws.
I know we can’t make people fix the marks they make so it’s tough but the maintenance crew has definitely picked it up.
Well done.
