Pinch Brook Golf Course
About
Pinch Brook Golf Course in Florham Park may be a short course, but it should not be underestimated. The layout offers all the challenges of a championship course conveniently wrapped in an executive-length course. Water hazards come into play on nearly every hole, including a pond on the seventh that is shaped like the state of New Jersey. The elevated and undulating greens putt fast and true. They present a test for even the most seasoned golfers. The par-3 holes are particularly tough. Most of them feature strategically placed bunkers fiercely guarding the double-tiered greens, that or a forced carry. The golf course is great for honing your short game skills or for squeezing in a quick but challenging round. Pinch Brook G.C. is hailed by locals as the best short course in northern New Jersey.

Great Day With Great People
I was paired up with two regulars, husband and wife. They were absolutely awesome, made my round one of my favorite golf outings. This is a great little course. It’s not Augusta but it is a really great track! Great service and great on course service as well.
Nor worth the money
When I booked they told me all carts were accounted for, get to front desk they ask me do I need a cart? The group I was with were so nice. Then around the 9th hole the ranger told us to speed it up the group behind us was not waiting for us. He wasn’t friendly. Felt uncomfortable playing here.
Nice value
I like this course but the appeal is a shorter course. Last two times I played it was crazy slow. They should consider making tee times at longer than 10 min intervals. It never played this fast- waited and waited every hole
Nice course
First time playing, good course to work out kinks. Only issue was that there were tons of annoying bugs. I'm guessing it was due to our playing at the break of dawn..
Although Fun and Challenging the course leaves something to be desired.
The course was challenging at times and pretty beginner friendly. But the greens were not very well maintained. Littered with speedy dry or stone dust it made the greens far too firm. Sand traps were like concrete, and the tee boxes, some atrocious. For 86 dollars total and with a cart fee of almost 25 dollars. I just don’t think a par 65 course demands the $86 bucks!! Far better deals in the area. Fairways were in great shape tho and like I said it was challenging and fun at some spots. Just not worth the money in my opinion.
Good course for fun play
I enjoyed having a shorter course that was easy to walk. Good mix of players out there with a bit less pressure than a full length course. Enjoyable par 3s.. good length par 4s and par 5s that give you a chance to score.
Plenty of water to make you think a bit. Greens have recently been sanded and rolled but were pretty true and rolled really well.
Bunkers have gotten a recent dusting of new sand.. but are fairly thin.
Short but good course
Good course to work on your swing. Nice layout and course was well maintained. Greens were in good shape but the bunkers were like concrete. Short course but I knew that when booking. Nice walking course and overall was in good shape.
Well kept. Ranger keeps it moving.
Love Pinch Brook. They are on top of things. Friendly staff too.
Not the longest course but hit from the blues if you want that—they got it.
