Pinch Brook Golf Course
About
Pinch Brook Golf Course in Florham Park may be a short course, but it should not be underestimated. The layout offers all the challenges of a championship course conveniently wrapped in an executive-length course. Water hazards come into play on nearly every hole, including a pond on the seventh that is shaped like the state of New Jersey. The elevated and undulating greens putt fast and true. They present a test for even the most seasoned golfers. The par-3 holes are particularly tough. Most of them feature strategically placed bunkers fiercely guarding the double-tiered greens, that or a forced carry. The golf course is great for honing your short game skills or for squeezing in a quick but challenging round. Pinch Brook G.C. is hailed by locals as the best short course in northern New Jersey.

Staff is the “Morristown” Worst
I’ve been to about every public course in NJ and I have to say these guys put you in such a bad mood every time. The old women at check in is rude, and the starters treat you as if you’re trash. The aggression is not needed and they need to lighten up. I’ve been multiple times but this is it - change the staff and you’ll have a decent course to play.
Poor conditions
Granted, this was 2 days after a major weather event at a county course, but the conditions were terrible, and this wasn't the first time. There were piles of large, downed tree limbs on the sides of practically every fairway, and the bunkers had basically become water hazards. Do not play here after a moderate rainstorm - the place turns into a swampy mess.
Look behind you
Great efficient & courteous staff. I don’t think it would hurt if Rangers reminded slow players to be conscious and consistently look behind themselves for anyone waiting.
Like course not to long good for Seniors
I play this course a few times a year. It's just the right length for me. It could some upkeep. Most of the sand traps are not usable even when they are not filled with water due to heavy rain. Overall it is a good course but could use a little more help on upkeep.
Disappointing
A nice layout but poorly maintained..... chewed up tee boxes, fairways, bunkers (filled w water!) and greens (airated) left me surprised, disappointed.
