Pinch Brook Golf Course in Florham Park may be a short course, but it should not be underestimated. The layout offers all the challenges of a championship course conveniently wrapped in an executive-length course. Water hazards come into play on nearly every hole, including a pond on the seventh that is shaped like the state of New Jersey. The elevated and undulating greens putt fast and true. They present a test for even the most seasoned golfers. The par-3 holes are particularly tough. Most of them feature strategically placed bunkers fiercely guarding the double-tiered greens, that or a forced carry. The golf course is great for honing your short game skills or for squeezing in a quick but challenging round. Pinch Brook G.C. is hailed by locals as the best short course in northern New Jersey.

Too inconvenient because there is no portable toilet.

You'll have fun on this course.
The par 4s are of good length.
Par 3s are fun and somewhat challenging.
Great Course for your short game
Pinchbrook is always fun and enjoyable to play.
It might be short in yardage but it’s long on challenging greens.
Bring your waterproof shoes Pinchbrook often is very damp under foot.
Exceed expectations
1st time on course. Conditions were excellent for the time of year. Looking forward to playing during the summer.
Swampy after rain
Played after a few wet days, course takes a long time to drain, very wet and sloppy, it's also January so it's to be expected, nice short course to stay loose on, idk if I'd ever pay full rate to play it though
It's okay, be prepared to wait
Par 3 tune up that doesn't care about the conditions or the pace of play. I've played worse, but the pace is a bit nuts. You can finish this course in a little over 2 hours if you have it to yourself. Playing 18 at almost 5 hours is insane.
For a shorter course, it's a decent public faciliity
We have played here before, but I don't remember there being so many par 3's. We had a very warm late December day (65 degrees) so last-minute booking we were able to play nine holes starting at 2:10 PM.
As to be expected, the greens were in pretty rough shape from being frozen a few days before. The pace of play was very good, and rather than having to jump on a plane to get someplace warm, it was a nice 1/2 round of golf.for $20 (walking).
Should be closed
This was a wate of money. Facilities are poor and the course is not maintained. No range, no chipping or bunker practice areas. No sand in bunkers. Leaves all over the course, including greens, fairways, as well as rough. Signage poor. Greens appear trampled and not maintained. Could be a fun course if it was maintained.

Very pleased especially for time of year. Traps weren’t raked and secondary rough a little high. But considering time of year great condition!!!
