About
The Clubview nine, which opened in 1963, is the original course at the 27-hole Farmstead Golf & Country Club, located in northwest New Jersey, approximately one hour from New York City. Offering a traditional mix of par 3s, par 4s and par 5s, accuracy is key on the Byron Phoebus-designed course. The Clubview nine closes with two very demanding holes, the long par-4 eighth, with an approach shot over water, and the par-3 ninth, which is surrounded by water.

A Slow day at the Farm
As usual at Farmstead, the pace was very slow. I cannot remember the last time I had an on-pace round there. Love the scenery, the flora & fauna, and the course, Club/Lake, is a decent track, esp for the price. Very green compared to most of the courses in NJ. Some of the tee boxes were in bad shape and lots of greens were pocked with ball marks.
Great Day As Always
Great course, Great condition on Fairways. Tee boxes were a little overgrown on some holes. Bunkers were a little hard on some holes as well but maintained. Early morning tee time so it was a bit damp but it was a great round. Staff was great, course was excellent to play on. Under 4 hours for our group. Always enjoy this course.
great 9 holes
My golf buddy's grandson played with us and had a great time. Course was being aerated so lots of plugs on some fairways. Course was a bit wet. Still a GREAT day!
Ball Washers
The course was great but the ball washers need some attention. No water in most of them the towels were dry rotted or old. Otherwise course is great . Had a good round. Will definitely play there again
Course is excellent. Staff is terrific. Try to play the main 18 holes. There is an extra 9 holes added to the course that you can play on a later visit. The main course is great
Nice Place
Good value, very slow pace. Greens even slower. No concessions after 4:30, but still plenty of people on the course.
Great local course!
Farmstead is always in great condition! Greens and fairways are manicured well!
