Farmstead Golf & Country Club - Lakeview/Clubview Course
About
Water comes into play on six holes on the Lakeview nine at the 27-hole Farmstead Golf & Country Club, which is located in northwest New Jersey approximately an hour from New York City. None is more challenging than the closing hole, a very short -- but very intimidating -- par 3 over water. The Byron Phoebus design opened in 1965.

Golfer Reviews
Interesting
Have no comment on amenities due to pandemic.
Played here alone and was tough to figure out holes. otherwise was exellent experience. Could use more and better signage on holes and location. possibly graph of hole at tee box. Fairways are hard for May. Water holes are very scary with some long carries.
Good Shape always
Course is challenging but always in good shape making it easier. Grass aroung greens is supurb allowing easy flop shots. Valley side does have some wet areas otherwise highly recomend course.
Excellent condition
Played Lake/Club course in great condition even with the rough being a little higher than usual. Played here many times over the years and always enjoyed the layout and conditions. Very playable for all levels
great to be out
course layout fantastic, conditions beautifully maintained, greens divit free, and sand traps are beautiful to be in. ponds can use a little algea treatment but overall a great golfing experience. Just a little nervous seeing so few of the staffers without face masks.
