Charge dispute
I have no problems with the course or their amenities. However, what I’m upset about is the fact that they charged my credit for a player that didn’t show up. Originally I booked a tee time for 4 players but one of them couldn’t make it because of his work schedule. So I made changes through golf now and didn’t think I would get penalized since I have the membership… however, I received an email from golf now that the club, Lakewood country club told them that I was a no show! Not happy about it at all! Especially since we always play there and even spend money at their restaurant! I’m disappointed!

Anger Ranger
Took a friend out for his first time golfing and made sure we had the last tee time (didn’t want to hold anyone up). At the 7th hole (only playing 9) the ranger came by to close the gate behind us and didn’t say anything about trying to speed it up. After the 8th he was waiting at the 9th tee box and came to us aggressively saying it’s dark you have to get off the course I said ok relax we’ll leave his response was go tell your other 2 guys the same I said ok. Before I could pull up to them he was already there telling them it’s dark get off the course. All this happened while a foursome was driving to the 12th tee. I get people just want to go home from work but at least try and be nice about it.

Some very interesting course holes and challenges!
Beautiful day, and we didn’t wait at all on any holes. Greens were a bit slower than the course I live on, but it was all good. Chicken salad at halfway house was delicious. Still can’t par the 12th hole , but I enjoy the challenge!

Conditions
Greens were in good shape, but sand traps were more like dirt traps.
