Hidden gem of a course
Friendly local course that's perfect for all skill levels. I was randomly paired with three strangers who played from the blues, so I went along despite usually playing form the white tees, and had a blast. The holes were a bit more challenging, but no so long that it detracted from my round. Greens can be challenging, but are fair. Grounds crew does an excellent job keeping the course in fine shape.

Hidden Gem
I hesitate to give this review because I don't want it to become too crowded but ... it deserves the positive review. Course is in good condition, greens are well kept, staff is fantastic. Course is challenging, narrow at times, definitely need to be aware of other golfers. Best value for the money in North Jersey!

Great conditions all around
Played a sub 4 hour round on monday. Course is in fantastic shape and the greens were super consistent and a pleasure to putt on.
Kudo's to Tony and the team for their maintance. And to the "Ranger" for kicking it with us for a few holes.
Would definitely recommend and will be back soon!

Diamond in the rough
Course was in great condition. Layout is a little tight but was scorable. Will definitely play again.

Wonderful Course
Played a 3 1/2 hour round today. Course is in GREAT shape. Greens are in great shape and bunkers have new added country club sand. The course layout is exceptional. The long par 5 on #11 is very challenging. The greens keeper has done an exceptional job keeping the course grass healthy.
The Staff was very kind and hospitable. Left my thermos bottle in the cart and starter tracked me down before I departed to return thermos. This course is the jewel of Essex County. Pace of play was amazing! Great place to play!!!

Best shape I’ve seen it
Tony has to done an amazing job not only maintaining, but improving this place over the years. Greens are rolling smoother than ever, fairways in great shape, rough is grown in perfectly, and nuisance trees are finally being removed. The only thing left to do is improve the bunkers, but even so, this place is looking better than ever

This course is a gem in the heart of Newark, I'm a limo driver and always have time to stop and play golf here whether I'm picking up or dropping off the staff is great and very accommodating
