The Hidden Gem
The Hidden Gem of Essex County! Tucked away in Weequahic Park in off Rt.22 in Newark is one of the nicest courses you"l ever come across! The county spends a ton of money to keep this course in great shape. Not a long course but the tight fairways & hills make it a real challenge. The course manager Jerry & his staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and are always friendly and extremely helpful! This year they upgraded their notification system and let you know early on the course conditions and other info right on your cell phone or e-mail. If you want a great round of golf at real affordable prices, I highly recommend Weequahic park!

The course is in great condition and is great value for 25 bucks. Jerry who works there is the man and so is Tony the Superintendent.

Great Course, Solid Value
Course was in very good condition. Pace of play was great. The course layout is fantastic, some challenging holes and some easier. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Cheap course, get what you paid for
Staff was awesome and very friendly which was great, course was not in great shape at all greens were not cut and very chewed up, other players there were extremely slow and firing balls left and right had a few scares of getting hit. Probably not worth it.
