Ok if you like “Ok” courses
Me and my customer got paired with 2 kind ladies who advised us we should gold separate as they clearly wanted to split up. They went ahead of us. The group behind shot past and almost hit us in the middle of the fairway at the first hole.
Guy had the nerve to walk up after, no apology and tell us we need to catch up with our group and to skip the tee.
This review has not too much to do
With the course but with the horrible human beings who golf there. I will not step foot on that course again. If the golfers there will endanger you and be bossy and rude, no thanks
Drought conditions affecting the course
Water restrictions are causing the course to play hard. Greens are firm and fast...
8th hole lawsuit still isn't resolved
But still a great challenging course
My new home course
Always a favorite.
As fall golf starts, tee boxes are getting fixed, fairways berated and very soon, greens aerated...even with all thus, Gyatt Hills are in excellent shape
Rangers need to do their job
Got stuck behind a group of 4 people who had never played before. It's okay to be new but the guys were just disrespectful. The entire time the group was hitting multiple balls per person, standing around taking photos on the green after they finished the hole, and overall just wasting time. They had two full holes open in front of them and not once did a ranger come around and ask them to speed up. I asked them politely to speed up multiple times but it didn't help. Ruined my entire experience.
Messy Sand Traps, 8th Hole Is A Bummer
Hyatt Hills is a nice 9-hole course, and they have come a long way.
Since new apartments were built, the 8th hole, a challenging Par 4 has been made into another Par 3 apparently over a ridiculous issue with the apartment complex. It SUCKS for golfers playing this short course.
The greens have improved since green repairs have been given out, but the SAND TRAPS are terrible. Nobody rakes them, and it's normal for your ball to fall into a footprint. This is a major turn off for serious golfers.
If Hyatt Hills does not manage golfers to rake the sand traps, they should employ people to drive around and rake the traps regularly so it does not tarnish the experience.
Nice course for a quick 9 holes
Had fun playing. Long time friend joined me. The two guys they paired us up with were pretty cool. Course was in decent shape. It's apparent many players do not fix ball marks on the greens or repair divots. shame on them. They provide the sand to replace divots and it's easy the fix ball marks. I wind up fixing obvious ball marks from other players all the time while waiting to putt. What's happening on hole number 8 is an unmitigated disaster. One of the better holes on the course is turned into a ridiculous par 3. The housing structure took legal action against the course because some balls were found on their property. Why's knows if that's even true. The course put up a 50 foot net along the left side of the hole. That should suffice. Also, let's consider that the course was there way before that high traffic housing complex was built. It's the developers responsibility to make sure their property is safe for their customers. This is the only issue with this course worth mentioning. Somehow, that hole needs to be reopened.
Slow pace
Course is good for the money but pace is slow on Saturday cause too many hackers
Nice course but Hole 8 needs work
Had a nice time at the course. The greens ran a little fast, but that’s OK because I’m not a great player. But whole number eight seemed to be under construction. It went from a par five to really a par two that hole seems so slap shot but overall good experience
Great course
Cart fee was a bit of a joke. $14 per person I mean that cost was same as two of the juniors we played with. And then w heat u exclusively stayed on path. I dunno just a little off. Course is excellent well maintained. Can’t control pace. Enjoy Hyatt but that’s my comment
Course Condition
Course is in very good shape. Other than the 8th hole, which has been shortened, I thoroughly enjoyed playing the course.
