great day at West 9
the course was in great shape and the pace of play was good.
the staff at the course are always friendly and welcoming.
the day was made even better when I had a hole-in-one on the par 3 7th hole.
DO NOT BOOK ON THE APP
GolfNow overchargers by 9 bucks per person, and then they did not even send the money to Plainfield West 9. So I still had to pay in person, which was way cheaper. Then GolfNow would not even give me a refund, instead got someone from Plainfield West 9 on the line to talk to me. Luckily everyone at Plainfield West 9 is great. They helped me and I really enjoyed playing at the course. Next time I will call the course directly to book a tee time.

Great Bang for the Buck
Staff Sam was extremely friendly and pushed a couple of twosomes together so everyone could get out before the women's league started. Its a 9 hole course that I walked in less than an hour and a half. Greens are the same as the country club across the street. Couple of long holes make up for the shorter easier ones. Clubhouse has clubs, clothes and a good selection of drinks, not much food. Over all very satisfied and will be back.
Welcoming layout
Open, not overly long, very playable fairways and rough: this is a great course for a quick, casual round. Great staff too.
Great Experience
Brought my adult daughter who is just getting into golf in the last 2 years. Great track for learning! Will be back!
The greens
The greens are always in excellent shape . I wish the fairways were in better shape. Is a good nine hole course.
Nice Greens, roasted fairways
Very nice greens. Some of the fairways are all dead / burnt grass with exposed dirt and rocks on several of the holes Rough cart paths.

West nine
The greens are always great. Hoping that one day the fairways would match the greens. From what I heard the course is a Donald Ross design.
