About
Warrenbrook Golf Course is one of five courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission. Although it is a seemingly mild 6,372 yards from the back tees, don't let the yardage fool you. This course is a formidable test. The layout is very tight, routed through dense stands of mature trees that loom above the fairways and frame the greens. In addition to being heavily wooded, the rolling terrain provides many tricky ups and downs ranging from subtle to dramatic. You'll be hard-pressed to find a flat lie on this golf course and you should also be prepared for a few blind shots. To top it all off, there are also a few strategically placed bunkers. Your accuracy will be put to the test at Warrenbrook Golf Course, as will your course-management skills.

ok for a fill in course
ok for a fill in course when you can't get another tee time elsewhere. There are no amenities on the course not even water. Some areas of the course are in so so condition.
Pleasant surprise
Ventured out on a Sunday afternoon and had a great day. Friendly staff and good advice from female golfer who just finished round. Greens were in great shape, rough was tough and native grass and rocks costly on wayward tee balls. Different type of shots required off of tee, not just bombs away with driver. Narrow tree lined fairways and smallish greens but scorable par 5’s as well as shorter par 4’s that rewarded good tee balls. Enjoyed it and will be back, worth the trip👍
Nice, tough course.
I played this course a lot and most of the time I end up losing a lot of balls. The course itself has great conditions right now and I’ve definitely seen it and worse shape. The greens were a little slower than average today, but it’s usually a pretty well-maintained course for being public. There are some really challenging holes that require some finesse, but the middle is pretty forgiving for a righty slicer. If you hook left or are a lefty slicer, this will be a challenging day. Price wise it is pretty reasonable for being Somerset County, especially compared to the union county prices. But I would play these courses over union any day. I have a love-hate relationship with this course because I have some of my higher scoring rounds here because it’s it’s difficult but I love the challenge.
Bill the starter
Golf shop lady was very nice, bill the starter on the other hand was not. When you walked up to him he made it seem like you did something wrong by being at the course at all. In all the years of golf I've played i have never seen a starter yell “tee off already” repeatedly as someone is on the tee taking a practice swing, while the group in front of us was still in the fairway, with a group from another hole playing in our fairway. Ive never left a review on ANYTHING in my life let alone a golf course but this guy was INSANELY rude to myself and the others in my group.
Ran out of carts
Showed up 20 minutes early for my tee time and put my clubs on the only cart remaining. I was told to remove my clubs and give the cart to the tee time ahead of me that showed up late. Then had to wait another 40 minutes for a cart. Teed off half hour late. Never played a course that ran out of carts before. Will never play here again.
Rude starter
The starter on the course, named Chris, will make you feel like you owe him something. Extremely rude for no reason.
We saw people yelling at each other, throwing clubs around, and all kinds of disrespectful stuff.
Absolutely no return to this course, never ever.
