Great to Get Out and New Golfers!
Princeton is a very nice course if you’re looking to get out get or some inexpensive and low-key golfing easily typically without advance tee times depending on when you play. It it was built in the mid 50s., a long time local course and is a smaller course in length and very tight.
Being a public course that is typically in moderate to very good condition, considering the play that it gets honestly is often pretty good given the cost of a round and compared to many much more expensive courses!. It also often has beginners and moderate golfers that are learning, not knowledgeable of golf etiquette and rules, which does slow play!
Typically I go for nine holes as the back nine is very tight and congested overall, it typically works out if you have some patience for the novice golfers that will slow your around!
A+ muni
For a small municipal course, it was in fantastic shape and the pace of play was perfect!
Nice layout great tee boxes
First time playing Princeton Country club. Staff was friendly and overall it was a nice round of golf. Tee boxes are in great shape and course layout was nice some tough pin placements but that’s what makes golf fun. Back nine especially 15 thru 17 very soggy in the fairways making it tough to hit a ball . 17 was tough because it was like hitting off of a sponge. Overall a good day will be back but will make sure we have a few days of no rain to see how 15-17 look dry.
Great course, just has a bee problem currently
Most holes on this course, around the green and fairways have ground bees which can be extremely overwhelming. Hitting a shot where you feel bees against your, club, body and face is far from ideal! Great course once they get that under control!
Great course
Great course. Had a great time playing. Only downside, we came and holes 13-17 were flooded, so they let us run through 1-5 again but would for sure recommend playing here and will be coming back.
