Simple design, good value for money, minor course condition issues that don't affect your game, friendly staff.
This course is a relatively simple layout with no tricks. The back nine is on wetlands so can be damp, or even closed on some days, but course is still playable. Most of greens are in "true" shape. The clientele is predominantly walking as it is a short course (approx 6000 from back tees), but the tee times are monitored so a four hour round is about expected. Good course for lower cost relative to other courses.
Fun
I had a great time! 12$ with a cart on a coarse that sometimes cost up to $70! Now that's a hot deal!
Good test
The course has a good combination of easy and tough holes. I love playing the course. The free lined fairways make good drives very important. Length is not as important as accuracy.
There are a number of holes that require attention on the back nine and I think they are in the process of reseeding holes 14 to 17.
SK
This course is awful.
Half of the fairways are completely mud. One hole was changed from a par 5 to a par 3 because the fairway was in that bad of shape. This should have been told to us before we paid for the round. Absolutely unacceptable. I will never play there again. The starter was very rude. I cannot believe they charge 37 dollars to play.
PCC is a good course.
Very nice course. Due to rain , few holes are drained. But its a nice course and can be finished in not more than 3.5 hrs.
Short and tight with small greens
Played in the afternoon and staff sent me out right away. I played with another golf now customer. We played in just over 3 hours -no waiting. Course was maintained with small target greens. Sand traps were stragically placed. They were a lot of doglegs. Water doesn't really come into play. You have to hit the ball straight and avoid the trees which were numerous, but they helped shade us on a hot and humid day.
I was disappointed as there was water pools on the coarse
Front nine holes O.K. but back 9 fairway flooded. However back 9 was playable
It was just awful
Nothing about it did we like. No person driving around serving beverages. The course was in garbage condition. The woman at the bar was unfriendly and had an attitude. Im extremely dissappointed.
Excellent Wide Course!
First of, very convenient location. Just one turn off a major highway. Most holes have very wide forgiving fairways that are lined with well spaced out tall trees. Novice players with frequent errant tee shots will love that often times you can retrieve a sliced ball easily. There are a few tricky holes such as the par 3 across the canal to a blind green. It was a lot of fun to play and I hope the recent hurricane didn't do too much damage, the old tall trees were magnificent.
Horrible!
One hole was totally closed and another had workers with a giant bulldozer and tractor parked right on it. Unplayable.
Then they were blowing the leaves of the fairway. Any shot slightly (even a foot) off the fairway was lost. Instead of collecting the leaves or mulching them, they just blew them there. I'm 48 years old and have NEVER lost that many balls on a course in my life. HORRIBLE.
Every time I play this place it's something new. I hope I finally learned my lesson and not play here anymore!
Course needs slight maintenance.
No rangers on the course to maintain steady play. There was a group of 5 some 2 holes ahead of us that slowed down the play. That should not have been allowed.
Very nice course
Nice, challenging course with lovely scenery. Would recommend this golf course.
Mature coarse with many trees with rather large branches.
Enjoyable coarse with a park like atmosphere. Very reachable holes allows for many birdie and par opportunities. Just be aware of the overhanging branches.
Fun Course
Fun to play. A couple dog legs at the start. Dont try to be Tiger and bend it, unless you warm up first.
I won't play there again.
Every hole is the same. Short and narrow. You drive into the trees, look for your ball, chip out and hit your approach.
