Despite the season
It was awesome. Very well maintained although it was middle of winter.
Great course but last five holes…
Played New Year’s Eve Day. Nice club house/bar/restaurant. Carts with GPS. Very foggy today but pretty nice course/layout minus the last 5 holes(icy/flooding issues going on) that hopefully will be fixed next season.
Not worth the money
This course is nowhere close to being a $65+. Granted it's 1 of only 2 in Union County, NJ. They spent more money trying to fix up the clubhouse than making the course more enjoyable. Drainage issues on holes. You should only play this course for the price of you have nowhere else for that day and/or you live close and want the convenience.
Great course
A bit pricey for out of county players but not bad with a deal on Golf Now. Challenging course with some fun holes. Greens in great shape. A bit wet on a few holes but it did just rain a lot.
Impressed
I’ve been playing this course for over 20 years but haven’t the past few years b/c I could never get a tee time using my county card.. The GolfNow app saved the day to provide a tee time including cart!
We played a day after heavy rains and the course was pretty dry with the exception of a few holes with standing water on fairways. No big deal. The greens were playable and a bit faster than I expected after such heavy rains. The course itself had a lot of trees removed since I last played and it looked a lot different in a great way. Always loved the layout of this course. The blue tees were challenging, yet not
much farther back from the whites on most holes.
Couldn’t believe there was a cart girl on this course first of all, and the fact she made transfusions made the round that much better!
Overall great round of golf and a great day with acceptable playing conditions. I’ll play this course again for sure real soon if it’s on Golfnow!
