east orange
not for low handicappers. fairly short course but in great spring conditions. greens where aerated and are coming in good. a bit bumpy and slow day we played.

Great value course currently in fair condition (April 20th 2023)
Course is currently in fair condition, fairways great condition, booked a twilight round for 4 pace of play was good, course was generally busy, greens were slightly lumpy due to recent aeration which is understandable this time of year. Overall currently enjoyable and worth the value of twilight play.

Not one good thing to say
Not only was the pace of play horrendously slow (over 2:45 to finish 9) the course is wildly over priced for the experience. The greens are essentially the same as the fairway with slightly shorter grass featuring plenty of bare spots filled in with sand. The bunkers do not have nearly enough sand. With no starter the course was a free for all. It was over 90 degrees on the course the day I played and although there were coolers placed sporadically throughout the course, none of them were filled up.
Overall it is an absolute joke that this course is over 60 dollars. I would not recommend this track for any level of golfer as you can find something significantly more enjoyable almost any where you look.

Better than last week . . .
As the weather was terrific around here it was a very good opportunity to make some headway . . . And they did . . . The greens were MUCH better than last week . . . They need to instruct the guys working on the course to be aware of players they may be approaching . . We had to wait several times for equipment to stop and move out of the way, not stop in the middle of the fairway (blower) or green(s) (mower) . . . This is NOT an acceptable practice.

DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE!!!
This is no longer a golf course. No greens, no starter, no rangers. It's a crime they actually take peoples money.

EARLY season shape
The course could have been in a bit better shape. They were certainly working on it however. We had to play the front 9 twice. The starter was missing. It could be managed a bit better. Lie to see this course in 4 - 6 weeks. This course is much better a bit into the season.

Ground (course) under repair!
Pros: good for practice (from the tee and fairway).
Cons: overpriced, all greens under repair (more sand on the greens than in the bunkers), trash on each hole, ball washers filled with mud, no ranger (slow… slow pace), and people starting on hole 10 making the round even longer than it should be.

underwhelming
basically, the course offers only the basic playing experience. Playing conditions can be hit or miss depending on weather conditions. Many restrictions are imposed without adequate public notice ( no gas carts until further notice for example) and staff are working on the course and somewhat interfering with play.
this course is not for the serious golfer and best for someone seeking casual game play with a few friends!

Terrible
The decline continues with no end in sight. Relative to last year - they have burnt down and cut down a lot of trees and shrubs around the course exposing it even more to the highways, dumped a ton of sand on all the greens given they got completely destroyed last year, the fairways are poorly maintained with water and mud everywhere. The list goes on and on and not sure why no one does anything about this nicely located course.

I have 10:30AM tee time and nobody on the clubhouse for check in. 😡

Green is so bad condition
It is exactly same condition last winter
Specially green is so bad condition , ball can not be rolled strait due to sick green

50$ for those conditions. That aside, nice course layout. Club house restaurant looks nice. I am not sure if I would return in summer.

cheap round, beat up course
Greens are very bumpy, sandy and SLOW

Mixed Bag
Great check in staff, inside. Super nice, super helpful. . Zero starter or coordination of tee off's and rate of play. Also a lot of jerks deciding they don't want to wait for their tee time so they jump to the 10 hole and start piling people up and screwing up the enjoyment of the round.
