Greens unplayable
The greens were basically sand and dirt. No grass on about 75% of the greens. Website should’ve stated that greens are under repair and they should discount the rounds to twilight rates or something, at least warn people before they spend $50 on the round. . Unputtable surface.

The fairways were ok. Standing water in sandtraps. The greens were dirt, they have let all the grass die.

Wait Until Next Year...or Longer
What was once a decent course is now a complete wreck. All the greens are ruined. The fairways are soft and spongy. If you just want to swing a golf club without keeping score go play. But eliminate any expectation of playing a golf course.

Poor Maintenance
I'm not one to complain. I get frustrated when I hear other golfers complain about bad conditions and then do nothing to help them along, like replacing divots, fixing green dents, cleaning up trash, etc.. The Greens were atrocious. If you water one thing all summer, water the greens. It was like putting on a rocky beach. And it's nice to see people out doing the basic of maintenance, but when a guy drives back and forth up and down the same fairway your playing ( after looking at you), towing an enormous blower behind him and could care less that you're actually playing that fairway and that he just blew the leaves back and forth across the same spot, along with your ball, it gets a little aggravating to say the least. I have been wanting to play the course for a while, and it's a nice setting, pro shop guy was super super nice, but some work to be done on the grounds.
Horrible!
Don’t be ripped off playing this course. There are no starters, no rangers, and free for all on tee times. All the greens and burnt and have crab grass growing on them. This course isn’t even worth playing if it was free.

Worst greens ever seen
The greens are not playable. Much more dirt and even weeds than grass. What's the plan and timeframe to bring them back to acceptable conditions?

Greens have no grass, just dirt. Stay away this year
I'm shocked at the condition of the greens. It's just dirt. While the back 9 is better than the front, the course should really be closed. Attached photo is the worst green.
I played here years ago and it was fine. Hopefully they fix the greens over the off season.

Great Layout, but greens are not in good condition
We play here about five to six times a year. The course layout and amenities are good, but the last few times we’ve played here the greens have been in very bad condition making putting nearly impossible. Paying full price to play the course in this condition will not make us come back anytime soon. The course has great potential, but needs work.

Green were not green
The tee boxes fairways sand traps were great but the greens had no grass on them. It looks like they haven’t been watered all season and we’re just hard dirt/sand. It was super bumpy so putting was a nightmare

The greens were absolutely awful. Some of them didn’t have a spec of green on them

Rough shape
Course is really beat up. Many of the greens are pretty much just dirt with a couple patches of grass. It’s never been that nice of a course, but to pay $50 walking for these conditions is outrageous. Staff were very friendly and the pace of play was great (despite being behind a FIVEsome). I know the weather has been difficult with how little rain we got this summer, but I would never pay that much for greens that are pretty much unplayable

This is legit the most poorly maintained course I've ever played. We're talking dirt "greens" with weeds. Tee box grass was "rough height" in some places.
First time here; I'm not coming back. Hire a super intendent and maintenance staff who take some pride in the course, and in a few years you might have a track worth coming back to.

Greens were being repaired
Only issue was some of the greens on the front 9 were bare and being repaired.

Greens are not green
Do you enjoy the aspect of golf that involves putting the ball into the hole? Yeah, basically half the game.and this course punts. The area around each hole is not populated by very much grass at all and yet they expect you to pay full fare for greens fees. What even gives? Is this some kind of bizarre joke? Do not play this course. The greens keeper at this course should be boiled in oil.
Terrible just terrible
Where to start.
Staff in club house are terrible people. Rude people who think they’re above their golfers. They should all be terminated immediately period.
Course is in beyond unacceptable condition. 85% of the “greens” aren’t grass they are compact dirt. The grass on the fair ways was beat, the rough was uncut and not cared for. I know it been tough weather but no other course is this bad.
The guy at the midway shack stand was great. Funny personable. Great guy. The guy taking the carts at the end was a frat guy as well.
Bar. Way overpriced 22-25 for a burger. Burger was average. Bartender was lazy and not social at all. The bar was nice inside.
If they spent money on the course instead of the bar it could be nice. At this point they’ll probably have to re-sod and fix every green.
As far as staff. Terminate and replace they obviously don’t care for the place.
It’s a shame. It’s a short course but could be fun if the staff even tried to maintain the place.
Putting on dirt is hard - but cheap golf is nice
The tee boxes and especially the greens are in really bad shape. The drought conditions were tough everywhere in the area this year, but this course is the worst I've seen. but if you're booking for $20 then its probably still worth the money. Just know that at least 13 of the 18 greens are over 75% dirt/sand/weeds. Count it as a two putt and move on
