Add mushroom to injury
Be aware: Make sure you know where you ball lands exactly. There are now mushrooms growing everywhere, fairways and roughs, that looks like your golf ball steps away. Just adding insult to injury. What's next?
If you want a place to swing a club play . Nothing else would be golf.
All greens are damaged and unplayable. The fairways are also sketchy. No reason to keep a score. 25$ is over priced.

Greens were literally dirt.. absolutely awful maintenance.

Care of the course was lcking
The tee boxes and fairways were fine and as expected. The greens however were complete bare of grass. They were dirt, as if it wasn’t cared for at all. Some greens even had weeds growing up out of tue dirt.
Definitely not worth the money spent. I will not play there again if the green maintenance isn’t cared for. Plus, NOT A WORD from the staff when I checked in. At least say something, you have to know your greens, and I mean ALL 18 were just dirt!

Terrible maintenance
Staff barely acknowledges you being there. Slow bartender. No personality on staff no socializing. The sole acception was the half way stop. Great guy joked around. Food was ok but WAY OVERPRICED $22-25 for a basic hamburger.
Course conditions beyond terrible. The course should be shut down. Greens are completely gone with dirt sparse grass and crab grass. Rough barely cut. The entire maintenance staff should be terminated for how bad this course is. Juan Casiano should be terminated for letting the course be in this condition. The fact he gets paid is insulting to the tradition of golf.
Don’t play here maybe the people in charge will terminate everyone and they can get people who care in there. It’s a shame they have pathetic people in charge it could be a nice course.

Shocking Condition
I know that there is a shortage of natural precipitation over the summer, but the state of this course at the moment is absolutely atrocious. The greens are more like bunkers, with more sand than grass. The fairways are not in great condition either. I think it would be a good idea for the staff to warn golfers before that tee off or even pay about the condition of the course. I certainly feel at a minimum, rates should be discounted.

Green
although overall course condition was fair, green area were in awful condition,I wish I had taken a picture

DONT PLAY HERE
EOGC has never been a great course. But it is local and I can usually get a tee time. The pace of play is slow because there is no starter or rangers People wander on and foursome will go out followed by a single, and so on . Results are as expected, The fairways in the lower areas are mowed despite the ground being water logged, resulting in tire tracks form the mowers ruining the fairways. But that is the least of the problems here today. The greens are totally destroyed There are nothing but dirt and sand. And not one but all. There were never watered during this dry season. But the fairways were over watered, mushrooms all over. The greens are so bad you could actually rake them. The tee boxes were like batters boxes in baseball. This course should be closed immediately, and repairs begun now to save it for next season. The groundskeeper should be fired.

Horrible greens
The greens were basicly flat sand traps. No grass at all on several of the greens and patches of grass on a few others. The cart paths are not paved and the grounds need lots of tlc. I assume the dry and hot summer conditions are the causes of the problem, but I've played our courses that looked much better this summer.

Greens are in deplorable conditions
The greens are completely burned and they’re just all sand with weeds growing out of them. Can’t go back until they’re in better conditions

Course was in terrible shape. Literally the greens had no green on them! Disappointing.

Burned Greens
The fairways were in ok shape but the greens were unplayable. We were told before we started that they had just been aerated , but this was well beyond that. Many had literally zero grass. Just weeds and dirt. And the dirt was so soft and sandy that they were covered in footprints.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course. We work hard to maintain the course for everyone's benefit, which means aerifying the greens as part of our regular maintenance schedule and keeping them in pristine condition. Atrocious Greens
Have played here several times before and has been a good track to work on all aspects of my game.
Putting was not included this time, as not one hole had a “green” green. Not seemingly caused by aeration, as there were no holes punched. Seemed like they were unkept or maybe there was a disease.but the tee boxes weren’t as bad as the greens.
My last round there for this season…will give them a chance next year…

Should have been free
Booked tee time on Golf now got there early and the starter said they were clear and we could go out. Went in to pay and was told they weren’t charging us full price because they aerated. I’m no greens keeper but what they did was definitely not aerate they dumped a bunch of sand on the greens and ran over it with a golf cart. Not one green was playable or even somewhat playable. $50 a person was the discount. Absolutely absurd. The tee boxes were covered in weeds and you could barely find a soft enough area to put the tee in unless u had a jackhammer. The greens keeper and the starters should all be fired. This place used to be decent now it’s a dump. Would definitely never go back there.

Catastrophe!
This course should be closed down. It is unplayable. The greens should be renamed The Sands. Whoever is in charge of this place should be fired immediatley. It should be a criminal offense to charge people to play here!
