The greens were absolutely awful. Some of them didn’t have a spec of green on them

Course is really beat up. Many of the greens are pretty much just dirt with a couple patches of grass. It’s never been that nice of a course, but to pay $50 walking for these conditions is outrageous. Staff were very friendly and the pace of play was great (despite being behind a FIVEsome). I know the weather has been difficult with how little rain we got this summer, but I would never pay that much for greens that are pretty much unplayable

This is legit the most poorly maintained course I've ever played. We're talking dirt "greens" with weeds. Tee box grass was "rough height" in some places.

First time here; I'm not coming back. Hire a super intendent and maintenance staff who take some pride in the course, and in a few years you might have a track worth coming back to.

Only issue was some of the greens on the front 9 were bare and being repaired.

Do you enjoy the aspect of golf that involves putting the ball into the hole? Yeah, basically half the game.and this course punts. The area around each hole is not populated by very much grass at all and yet they expect you to pay full fare for greens fees. What even gives? Is this some kind of bizarre joke? Do not play this course. The greens keeper at this course should be boiled in oil.

Where to start.

Staff in club house are terrible people. Rude people who think they’re above their golfers. They should all be terminated immediately period.

Course is in beyond unacceptable condition. 85% of the “greens” aren’t grass they are compact dirt. The grass on the fair ways was beat, the rough was uncut and not cared for. I know it been tough weather but no other course is this bad.

The guy at the midway shack stand was great. Funny personable. Great guy. The guy taking the carts at the end was a frat guy as well.

Bar. Way overpriced 22-25 for a burger. Burger was average. Bartender was lazy and not social at all. The bar was nice inside.

If they spent money on the course instead of the bar it could be nice. At this point they’ll probably have to re-sod and fix every green.

As far as staff. Terminate and replace they obviously don’t care for the place.

It’s a shame. It’s a short course but could be fun if the staff even tried to maintain the place.

The tee boxes and especially the greens are in really bad shape. The drought conditions were tough everywhere in the area this year, but this course is the worst I've seen. but if you're booking for $20 then its probably still worth the money. Just know that at least 13 of the 18 greens are over 75% dirt/sand/weeds. Count it as a two putt and move on

Be aware: Make sure you know where you ball lands exactly. There are now mushrooms growing everywhere, fairways and roughs, that looks like your golf ball steps away. Just adding insult to injury. What's next?

All greens are damaged and unplayable. The fairways are also sketchy. No reason to keep a score. 25$ is over priced.

Greens were literally dirt.. absolutely awful maintenance.

The tee boxes and fairways were fine and as expected. The greens however were complete bare of grass. They were dirt, as if it wasn’t cared for at all. Some greens even had weeds growing up out of tue dirt.

Definitely not worth the money spent. I will not play there again if the green maintenance isn’t cared for. Plus, NOT A WORD from the staff when I checked in. At least say something, you have to know your greens, and I mean ALL 18 were just dirt!

Staff barely acknowledges you being there. Slow bartender. No personality on staff no socializing. The sole acception was the half way stop. Great guy joked around. Food was ok but WAY OVERPRICED $22-25 for a basic hamburger.

Course conditions beyond terrible. The course should be shut down. Greens are completely gone with dirt sparse grass and crab grass. Rough barely cut. The entire maintenance staff should be terminated for how bad this course is. Juan Casiano should be terminated for letting the course be in this condition. The fact he gets paid is insulting to the tradition of golf.

Don’t play here maybe the people in charge will terminate everyone and they can get people who care in there. It’s a shame they have pathetic people in charge it could be a nice course.

I know that there is a shortage of natural precipitation over the summer, but the state of this course at the moment is absolutely atrocious. The greens are more like bunkers, with more sand than grass. The fairways are not in great condition either. I think it would be a good idea for the staff to warn golfers before that tee off or even pay about the condition of the course. I certainly feel at a minimum, rates should be discounted.

EOGC has never been a great course. But it is local and I can usually get a tee time. The pace of play is slow because there is no starter or rangers People wander on and foursome will go out followed by a single, and so on . Results are as expected, The fairways in the lower areas are mowed despite the ground being water logged, resulting in tire tracks form the mowers ruining the fairways. But that is the least of the problems here today. The greens are totally destroyed There are nothing but dirt and sand. And not one but all. There were never watered during this dry season. But the fairways were over watered, mushrooms all over. The greens are so bad you could actually rake them. The tee boxes were like batters boxes in baseball. This course should be closed immediately, and repairs begun now to save it for next season. The groundskeeper should be fired.

The greens were basicly flat sand traps. No grass at all on several of the greens and patches of grass on a few others. The cart paths are not paved and the grounds need lots of tlc. I assume the dry and hot summer conditions are the causes of the problem, but I've played our courses that looked much better this summer.
