Horrible
Every green was burned brown and had bumps and slice marks on them.

Decent layout but greens had no grass
Could be good but the condition of the greens was almost unplayable. No grass, not consistent.
Poor for putting and for getting anything to hold.

Pretty bad condition
Green condition was so bad not worth playing at this course until they smarten up fix the problems

Dog Track
I was so upset to see how this course has gone to the dumps!! Greens were horrible and fairways were just as bad! Shame because its a nice layout and once was in very nice shape! Don’t play here if you have other opinions! Sorry to say I won’t be back. Live and learn!

Terrible Greens covered with crabgrass & sand
The greens are terrible !!! They’re cover with grab grass and sand with dead leaves on some already in early August. Don’t think the greens have been touched in 2-3 yrs.

Unusual day
Tee time was 7:50 am. I arrived at 7:25am to hit balls on the range. The pro shop was closed, with the attendant raring at 7:30. Took 10 minutes to start computer leaving me 10 minutes to hit a few balls. Interesting three groups teed off without having checked in- hopefully they paid after their round.
Greens were nearly unputtable. They must have been aerated but there so much sand left over in sheets, putting was not happening. Should been informed of the greens condition upon booking

Worst course in NJ
Worst golf course in NJ. I wish I could give this zero stars. Oh where to start. The greens are brown and covered in sand. More sand than actual grass. So much so that someone actually wrote “too much sand” in the middle of the green. You definitely do not want to overshoot the hole either or you will be amongst thousands of hornets swarming at the end of every one. If the hornets don’t kill you, the smell at every tee box might. A delicious combination of manure and sewage will bless your nostrils. If you have survived the hornets, smell, and sand, and decide you want to actually play the back 9, you will get to meet the lovely guy in the hot dog shack. This guy literally called m4some “a bunch of f’’in clowns” for literally no reason. We almost thought it was a joke because it was so confusing but I see we are not the only ones who have encountered this man. I have literally never written a review for anything online previously, but this guy is the sole reason I finally have and will make sure I negative review this place on as many platforms as possible.
You couldn’t pay me to play there again. Avoid this place like the plague! Anyone who has given this anything above a star is likely not a real person or family of the owners.

Greens were horrible
The greens are diseased with crabgrass growing on them. Great place to bring a first time golfer but impossible to take the place serious.

Horrible Course Condition
Unfortunately the environment in the club house was not pleasant. Golf course conditions was horrible. Fairway very dry and the greens had weeds growing in them. This golf course needs a new management and new superintendent. Golf is such a great game. This course has no respect to the game the way the golf course is being maintained.
