Love Meadows, but….
The only gripe I have about this course is that there is no Ranger out there. Be prepared for a 5+ hour round if you go out later than 9am

Golf down bar up
Golf course is not worth the money. After an expensive round the beers ar nice and cold to drown your sorrows for spending all that money to play. Oh tv sucks in the bar but food is good.

Disconnect between Golfnow + Course
Unfortunately, my friend and I arrived to play. Nobody was there - we found that strange. After stepping out of the car, the greens crew let us know the course wasn't playable. However, we never received any sort of communication. I understand it may be difficult for GolfNow to assist in this situation.
We did not play.
Awful Staff
I called early in the afternoon to find out if there was any restriction given the rain the previous night. No one answered. I left a message on the answering machine with my name and number asking for a call back with the information. They didn't call. I showed up at the appointed time and was told there were no carts due to rain -- walking only -- and that this information was on the website. I said I didn't see any such information on the website, I couldn't walk and asked why they didn't call. He said they were busy. There was no one in the clubhouse except me. I said "you don't look so busy. He said, "you don't have to play here." Incredibly rude. I said I can't play here. and left. It was an hour round trip by car from my home to the course.

Greened Up
Nice muni in Essex County. Tees and greens in nice shape. Fairways wide open . Enjoyable round. Good Eats & Full service bar at the turn. Worth the trip.

Staff very friendly
I forgot my rangefinder in cart and went back to course next morning and greens keeper was nice to go back in office before the course open and got my rangefinder. Could not be happier with greens keeper and person who turn in the rangefinder.

Local course, sucks!
I play this course often because its a few minutes down the road and its easy to get a tee time last minute. Ive probably played it a couple dozen times in last two seasons. Its a terrible course. Geese droppings everywhere. No starter, pace of play sucks. Staff is unfriendly. The cost is ridiculous unless you get a twilight time. They want 60$ with a cart. If they priced it accordingly i would not complain. But, when you have a 30$ course playing for 60$ its ridiculous. They put a bunch of money into a bar/restaurant and none into the course.

Don’t ever take the chance of playing at East Orange Golf Corse
This is the worst round of golf we ever played. There was obnoxiously loud music blaring from the patio at the restaurant. We could not even think let alone concentrate on our golf game. We have for years played at East Orange. We will never take the chance again and play there since that is a possibility as they said they have those brunches every month. They should have told us before we payed for 18 holes of golf. We should have asked for our money back. Never have experienced a round of golf like that. Can never recommend that course
