Warrenbrook Golf Course
About
Warrenbrook Golf Course is one of five courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission. Although it is a seemingly mild 6,372 yards from the back tees, don't let the yardage fool you. This course is a formidable test. The layout is very tight, routed through dense stands of mature trees that loom above the fairways and frame the greens. In addition to being heavily wooded, the rolling terrain provides many tricky ups and downs ranging from subtle to dramatic. You'll be hard-pressed to find a flat lie on this golf course and you should also be prepared for a few blind shots. To top it all off, there are also a few strategically placed bunkers. Your accuracy will be put to the test at Warrenbrook Golf Course, as will your course-management skills.

Beautiful Course, Slowest Greens out there
This course is a very nice layout with different holes and nice scenery, but the greens were as slow as can be. It was like putting on a fairway
Always in good condition
Course was in its usual good condition- and staff has always been pleasant- but encountered bit of an issue. While booking and confirming tee time on-line, website said it was to be for 18 holes but only 11 were open for play. Rest of course was off-limits due to maintenance. Was able to play 12 by replaying one but was disappointed that no mention was made when booked. In spite of that- look forward to playing there again due to the course’s usually good condition and friendly staff.
Good course, curmudgeon starter
The course is currently playing 11 holes, the other 7 were ravaged by some loser with an ATV. I was happy to pay twilight rates until we finished our round. Should they charge less? Yes, but it was still very fun and worthwhile.
The biggest issue is the old, male starter. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Gave me and my friends an attitude for playing two more holes (for 13 total when we paid for 18), and it only got worse from there.
I wouldn't go back just because of him.
Golf review
The fact that I could only play 11 holes, due to several holes being closed because of damaged done to several holes by Motorcycles ripping up the greens! Out of the control of management. I will be back in the future.
7 holes closed others with greens covered
Wasn’t told 7 holes were closed on GN several greens half covered with tarp. Starter put out a 4 some when we made the turn from 18 backing us up. We were told in the club house we would play 18 just double up on 17-5. Starter said no.
4/30/22 - BS
Drove 40 minutes to find out only 11 holes were open. Sure, only charged us $20 to walk, but a notification would’ve deterred me from carving out my Saturday to play a partial round. Half of the “playable” holes had tarps on parts of the greens. Pace of play was horrible, took nearly 3.5 hours for 11 holes. Save your time and your money.
After a ton of rain the course was pretty wet. Despite the soggy conditions the course was in good shape and it was an enjoyable round.
Good course for the money and ambiance
Nice course. Friendly check in. Holes are all different and give you both challenges and easy play. Nice layout.
Nice layout
Played for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Glad I was playing with someone who
Knew the course because there are several blind shots. Greens were in excellent condition as was the overall course including the traps. I’ll definitely play again. When I payed my greens fee and mentioned it was my first time playing the course the starter gave me a yardage/layout guide to the course. Nice touch.
