Preakness Valley Golf Course - East

Staff was friendly and the course was in great shape. Workers were working on the leaves and keeping the course clean and free of leaves. I will be back for sure.

Unfortunately got rained out they said you guys handle it and to call them and ask them if you need verification

West course in excellent condition. Pace of play was a little slow and no rangers were around to move play along. Fairways were spectacular and greens in good shape but a little slow.

Course in great shape especially for no rain for 23 days!!

The course was in excellent condition. The weather was great. Everything went well. I would recommend this course to my friends. Thank you.

There was multiple events that day.

One was a poetry competition on a loud speaker "no justice? No peace!" Was chanted right next to several holes.

Another had closed the practice putting green.

Was notified thirty seconds before teeing off that the greens had been punched.

The aeration was done poorly, causing many strange bounces, and poor conditions.

......except for very thick rough off fairways and around the greens, difficult to find balls (most/all holes),.... recovering greens from aeration/lots of sand....tough combo. Most tee boxes need repair (average this time of season).

Slow pace of play requires a course ranger to constantly monitor and 'encourage' our fellow paying golfers to move, not wait until groups ahead are over 300 yds away before hitting your ball, especially shorter hitters..... and common sense cart management.
