Overcharged
I was supposed to pay $116; I called golf now and the rep was supposed to call me back today with the update. Haven't heard back and I do not want $60 in credit for Monday - Thursday. I only play on the weekends.

Not what I expected
I had been out to this course last year and I had an enjoyable experience. This year not so much. The greens have patches of dirt all over and one hole was places in the middle of the fairway. Won’t be back for awhile.

Really good bang for the buck
Hilly course. Almost exclusively par 3 and par 4. Some really unique architecture. I will definitely be coming back.

Very disappointed
This is my tenth year as a Essex County golf member. The condition of Byrne is the worst it’s ever been, particularly the greens. The last few years have had excellent conditions. I’ve played Weequahic twice this year and the conditions there are very good. I’ve even asked if the same groundskeeper is at Byrne this year because of the poor conditions.
Agree, with mab2121. Played there on 5/14, surprised at the conditions at this stage in the season. Hoping they can turn it around soon.
Need to offer handicap flags
Lot more fun if handicap flags allowed me better access to greens

NIce course condition in the spring
It is the nicest weather of this year. The course is packed but the pace is acceptable. Enjoy a round of nice golf without much of wind.

Overall good course
No range so warm up is at a net
Layout is good course is a little short but was well maintained.
