Mountain View Golf Course

Nice track, good pace of play, great conditions for this year.

Mountain View is in great shape, except the women’s tee boxes, which are a mess. Other than that, the course is great. Super nice staff, pace was surprisingly good for a public course!, and the holes are challenging but not too hard. Hills affect several holes, and there’s just a little water. Great course!

Would love to give the course 5 stars across the board, but I can't in good conscious. When I checked in I was told what time the carts needed to be in..... starter comes out and tells us that time I was told was 15 minutes earlier than what I was quoted in the clubhouse. Not a big deal, we were on 17 with 15 minutes allegedly to go. But they threw on the sprinklers before the starter even came out to talk to us. This was the last thing we needed since the group behind us had been driving into us all day. And like clockwork on 18th the guys missed hitting me by about 2 yards and 6 yards respectively on my approach shot. We had their drives buzz the tower probably about 5 times on the back 9 alone, no yelling of fore, no sorry. And I told the starter when he informed us they were shutting down of this, and he seemed to blow it off as if this was acceptable practice. Luckily I played with 3 very nice guys, but damm did everyone else try to set me off.

For a gorgeous weekend summer morning the course over delivered as usual

We've been playing Mountain View for over 10 years and yesterday my buddies and I couldn't help but notice what great condition the course was in. 2 years ago we were hitting off of crabgrass around the greens and the greens weren't in great shape. Yesterday the greens were in excellent shape and the rough around the greens was lush and weed-free. The only crabgrass we saw had been sprayed and was dead. Fairways were really green and in great condition. Considering how dry it's been for the last month, the grounds crew has done an excellent job maintaining this local gem.

This is a nice course and maintained very nicely for the most part. I just don't understand why the grass around most of the greens is left so high and thick. It makes accurate chipping from just a foot or two off the green nearly impossible. Never played on any other course that did this. Also, the traps need a lot more attention.

Love the layout and the greens were in great shape but the bunkers need some attention.

Fair course. Played with a couple guys that knew the course well which helped my cause loved the course. I would say it’s a great course that doesn’t punish you for a bad or terrible shot. Greens, fairways and tee where in great shape. Will definitely go back when I have the chance
