Turtleback Mountain Golf & Resort

The course was nice, but honestly, it wasn’t worth the hype or the long drive. It’s truly in the middle of nowhere, and the place was completely dead—I saw the staff member at check-in, and that was basically it.

The greens were unbearably fast for no apparent reason, which made the round more frustrating than enjoyable. There were also barely any water stations. I brought my own full 40-ounce bottle and still became dehydrated enough to get a bloody nose. With so few golfers and staff around, it genuinely felt like I could have passed out—or bled out—and they wouldn’t have found me until hours later when they realized a cart was missing.

It has potential and the course itself was nice, but the lack of water access, staff presence, and overall atmosphere made the experience disappointing. I probably wouldn’t make the drive again.

From the pro shop very nice and staff was was excellent! The course was well maintained and the views were beautiful! The layout was excellent ! Will definitely play again! The price was good

This course never disappoints, pace is good, layout is challenging and awesome, and conditions are always up to par.

Paid by golf now and was charged a green fee on arrival need to clarify that this morning. Coarse is well maintained and I expect the greens will be really nice in about 3 weeks. The only problem I encountered was I didn’t bring anything to drink and was charged 7 dollars for a small Gatorade and a small bottle of water.
